About Ice Sculpture

Warble Entertainment’s Ice Sculpture affiliate is a Company with resident sculptors and ice making facilities; housed in premises of 10,000 sq ft. Nopporn Satjavata is the senior sculpture and has distinguished himself with 5 Gold Medals at the Ice Carving World Championships. He is passionate about his work and treats each piece that he carves as a unique work of art. As well as being able to carve hundreds of sculptures from memory, Nopporn can create any bespoke pieces from a simple sketch or photograph. He does not use templates and carves by hand which gives much finer detail to his sculptures than if an electric saw is used. It is rare in the 21st Century to get the personal touch, giving you a unique and high quality product. Let Nopporn create your ice sculpture and you will be extremely happy with the result.

What happens when I order? Once you have placed an order, work begins to manufacture the ice carving block itself in the factory. This can take about a week using specially filtered water to produce a crystal clear ice block to Food Industry Standard. This is because many sculptures are used as luges and are required to be safe to consume. The block is then inspected for clarity and passed to the carving team to create your own magnificent sculpture.

We are also able to offer the service of producing a sculpture that contains a company logo, message or promotional item. These are frozen inside during the block manufacturing process

The normal method of delivery is Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm to a loading bay or goods entrance. The sculpture, once delivered, will need to be set up by you or the venue manager. However, we are also able to offer a full delivery and set up service on a timed basis. The sculpture will be delivered and set up at your venue, in a one hour time slot, chosen by you. Once set up, the sculpture will either be left wrapped in its insulated wrapping, ready to be revealed to your guests, or unwrapped and ready for display.

Wedding Ice Sculptures- If you are looking for that extra special something for your wedding day then look no further. We have something for every wedding. For example, if it’s a small intimate wedding with just close family and friends, we can offer table centre pieces that won't overtake your reception. Or, Small swans, dolphins or even flowers set inside ice that will add that sparkle to each table. You and your guests will love them and feel the need to touch them to make sure they are real ice.

For larger gatherings in bigger venues, we can offer a special ice sculpture to fit the room. Extremely popular items such as a pair of swans, set up behind the bride and groom,  entwined love hearts with the happy couples names engraved into the ice, or a pair of doves on top of a heart, all make your special day complete.

Vodka Drinks Luge Sculptures- Having a party or celebration and looking for something to really make the night memorable? A vodka luge ‘breaks the ice’ and helps every party turn into a really fun night. What is a luge? Well, a luge is a crystal clear ice sculpture with one or more channels cut into the surface of the ice or drilled right through the centre of the ice. The drink shot is then poured in the top of the channel and rushes down through the ice, chilling as it goes... straight to the partygoer. Although originally created for use with vodka, luges nowadays are used with almost any spirit drink, schnapps, whiskey, champagne even beer is often poured down a luge.

FAQ’s
Is the water purified?
Yes, all of the ice sculptures are made from purified water using state of the art reverse osmosis water technology.

Are the sculptures made in moulds?
No, everything is created by hand by Ice artists.

How long does it take to make my sculpture?
Generally the carving takes about 2 -3 hours; however it takes 3 days to freeze a block of ice prior to carving.

How much notice do you need when placing an order?
Generally, 7 - 10 days notice, but rushed orders can sometimes be accommodated.

Can you make something if I give you a picture or sketch?
Yes, give us a call and send us your idea and we'll help turn it into ice for you.

Can you freeze things inside the ice?
Yes, all kinds of products can be frozen into ice, including: diamond rings, ski jackets, football boots, sweets, computer parts, perfume bottles and many more. 

Can you re-create our logo in ice?
Yes, colourful logos look great in ice.

How long will my sculpture last?
Generally it will depend on the size of your sculpture and the temperature of the room or outside. But, as a general guide, your sculpture will look good for 5 -6 hours, after this time, all of the detail will have disappeared and you will just be left with the basic shape.

How heavy will my sculpture or luge be?
An average sculpture is approximately 1 metre x 0.5 metre in size and will weigh between 120 and 135kg. 

Can you light up my sculpture?
Yes, using battery operated LED lights; these are safe with water and require no electrical supply near your sculpture.

Do you provide a table for it to stand on?
Unfortunately not, we ask that either you or your venue provide us with a sturdy 4 legged table. 

How do you deliver my sculpture?
Your sculpture is made at our affiliate’s factory and kept in a freezer until the day of your event. It is wrapped in bubblewrap for protection and then transported in a freezer van to your venue.

When do you deliver my sculpture?
Normally, delivery and set up of your sculpture occurs 60 - 90 minutes before your guests arrive. However, if your venue are happy to set it up for you, it can be delivered a day or two prior to your event and left with them in their freezer.

Where do you deliver?
All over the UK, and abroad too, but this is often a costly thing to do.

What happens to the water as the ice melts?
All of the sculptures come with a drain tray. The tray collects the water for an hour or so, then from the back of the tray is a pipe that is dropped down under the table. This is then placed into a bucket to take the excess water.

Do you collect the sculpture at the end of the night?
No, at the end of your event it, the sculpture will have melted significantly and all that needs to be done is for the remains to be carried outside and left to melt.

Do you collect the drain tray?
No, the drain tray is a disposable item.
