Mark's award winning stage act and stunning close up magic have not gone unnoticed. Professional Magician and pick pocket, Mark Raffles has said that Mark is "the most original magic act he's seen" and 80's comedian Jimmy Cricket has nothing but praise for the Comedy Trickster after working with Mark on several occasions

Mark has appeared in some of the most prestigious venues within the UK, including several appearances at the City Varieties Music Hall, Leeds. When he was 14, he was lucky enough to become the youngest ever solo artiste to appear on the famed Stage. Working at the City Varieties has helped Mark become the success he is due to making strong contacts and gaining the trust of well known and respected entertainers.

As well as his award winning Stage and Close Up, Mark is an accomplished Children's Magician and has held regular contracts with Children's Museum EUREKA! since 2005. Mark is also the resident Magician and Compere for the Skipton Waterways Festival where he entertain thousands of people for 3 full days using magic, comedy, escapology and circus skills.

Mark has been lucky enough to work alongsidemany well known names in the world of entertainment. A recent appearance was supporting Channel 4 Magician Paul Zenon during his Stand-up show, as well as performing his comedy magic act with Jimmy Cricket, Johnnie Casson, Bobby Knutt, Gorden Kaye, and many, many more.

Mark has built up a large catalogue of media appearances during his career. He has been seen on BBC, and Channel 4, as well as having a presenting role on ITV during 2008. Mark also has the unique ability to perform mind blowing magic on the radio. Listeners have heard Mark on several BBC based radio stations, including BBC Radio 1. Mark also has regular appearances on his local radio Station - Fresh Radio. Mark is regularly in the newspaper pages across Yorkshire and even appears in the national papers from time to time.

As well as his public achievements, Mark was lucky enough to be granted access to the Bradford Magic Circle at the tender age of 13. Membership isn't usually granted until reaching 18. Mark was honoured to become a full member of The Magic Circle in 2009, making Mark one of the elite Magicians working within the UK.

2010 has brought big changes to Mark's comedy cabaret performances. His one-man show is an action packed 45 minutes of amazing magic, and side splitting comedy which has been refined over literally hundreds of performances. Performing with a twinkle in his eye and a cheeky smile, you will find it hard not to be enthralled and amused by Mark as he mutilates a banana, or sniffs and tastes a spectator's finger to find their previously signed card in a shuffled deck. He had the audience eating out of his hand within minutes of coming on stage. He had a confidence that belied his tender years. He struck up a rapport with an audience member with a trick that left everybody scratching their heads with a 'How did he do that' expression. His dexterity with ropes and card manipulation was awesome.His closing trick, in which he's meant to be learning a trick from a tape, was nothing short of spectacular!
