The 6-9 piece band (Piano, Bass, Drums, Sax, Trumpet) operates musically like a “mini” big band, playing from arrangements written specially for us as a small band line up, remaining faithful to the style and structure of the original swing arrangers such as Nelson Riddle, Billy May and Quincy Jones. The arrangements are designed to produce the fullest possible sound, simulating a big swing band, and they make the group sound larger than five or six pieces by having the horns phrase together like a sax or trumpet section in a big band.

I had none stop approvals from everybody invited to Shaun's party ‘What a great singer’, ‘Where did you get him from’, ‘You couldn't have beaten the night’. You helped make our evening flow and I was also grateful for your little reassuring winks and nods to let me know that you where ok, as well as our guests. You are always welcome at our home and I sincerely hope I will get to be in your audience again!

Chrish and I can't thank you and your musicians enough for your wonderful performance at our wedding. Throughout the evening people were singing your praises (no pun intended!) not only about the outstanding quality of your performance but also marvelling at the resemblance of your voice to the man himself. Our guests are still talking about what a great night they had and how much they enjoyed your songs. You were possibly the least stressful aspect of the wedding to organise- your professionalism, charm, understanding and good humour made the process so much easier and enjoyable. My apologies for the lateness of my email! Just to reiterate our telephone conversation– you were great and we had the time of our lives! In the pre planning stages you were helpful, flexible, open to suggestions and gave some really good ideas that worked really well on the night. Despite the hotel’s lack of co-ordination on the day you rose to the challenge and gave a perfect live performance. Thank you for letting Michael and Josh indulge in their greatest passion of singing; they will never forget their ‘x-factor’ opportunity of singing live with you and the band– a dream come true for a 40 year old man and a 13 year old boy, which proves the point that your performance stretches across many generations. The older party guests were seen doing the fox trot whilst the youngsters tapped their feet and clicked their fingers to the ‘swing beat’, your music united all our guests from many different eras starting at 80 years old right down to my little niece Francesca seen twirling on the dance floor with grandad at the tender age of 3. The Joshua Kadison number still brings tears to our eyes and will be etched in our memories for years to come…..we’ll look you up when we hit our 10 year anniversary! I would not hesitate to work with you again and cannot wait for the next opportunity to get together.
