Named after the classic Pulp Britpop album, Different Class pay tribute to the British music scene of the 1990’s, bringing the recreated Britpop hits up-to-date in a powerful combination of passion and quality akin to the harder-hitting sound that the bands produced in their live shows.
Playing songs from the likes of Blur, Paul Weller, The Verve, Ocean Colour Scene, Supergrass, The Seahorses and, of course, Oasis, glory in the anthems that brought British alternative rock into the mainstream and formed the backbone of a larger British cultural movement of the 1990's that came to be known as Cool Britannia.
Different Class are a five-piece, 100% live band, based in North Wales, and have many years of experience playing at venues all across the UK.

As a musician myself I have seen many bands who perform cover versions. Some are good and some are bad. Different Class are exceptional in that they perform the hits of a genre and generation which is absolutely flawless and accessible to all who hear it. There are a lot of tribute bands on the scene who take a band and perform their hits, but I have never seen a band who are literally a tribute to an entire movement - Brit Pop. I booked them recently to perform at a private function and they brought the house down - truly remarkable and highly recommended.

If you want an across the board evening of genuine nineties britpop and nothing but, you won't get any better than Different Class. We booked the band as special guests for our annual music event on the sole basis of word of mouth recommendations which were fully justified. Although we only asked for a very short set it was very obvious we had an act of real quality on the stage that proved immensely popular with the audience.
