Amanda is one of the most exciting young harpists in Britain today.Amanda has appeared on British, Japanese and Sky television, played on various cruise ships and has performed for HRH Prince of Wales, Reverend Desmond Tutu and the Archbishop of Canterbury. She made her debut at the Purcell Rooms, London in 2002 and St Davids Hall, Cardiff in 2003.
In 2004 she supported jazz artist Jamie Cullum where she was spotted by pop icon Dannii Minogue. In September 2006 Dannii invited Amanda to arrange and record her Christmas single 'I'll be home Home for Christmas'.
Amanda is at home playing a vast range of music - including traditional, classical, jazz or pop and is currently the resident harpist for The Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales where they held the Ryder Cup in 2010 as well as the televised All * Ryder Cup.
Amanda is available to play with a jazz trio, jazz / folk / opera singer.

With many years of experience, Amanda is able to perform the right music to enhance the atmosphere at any wedding and may perform music for the guests as they arrive at the church, during the signing of the register, for optional marches as an alternative to the organ, and for the bride, groom and guests to leave the room. She is also able to perform at the drinks reception until the wedding party moves into the wedding breakfast, and also for the wedding breakfast itself.
Furthermore, if you are looking to give you corporate event or function something a little different, maybe a harp on a raised platform in the middle of a room whilst the guests mingle around for their drinks reception whilst listening to some light jazz (e.g. Take 5, Fly Me to the Moon….)? Or, perhaps a solo harp or even harp quartet gently playing background music whilst your guests eat? And for after dinner, Amanda is able to change the repertoire to suit the mood and type of client- from large corporate dinners to intimate parties.
Also, if your event has a theme, please let Amanda know, as she will tailor make the music and even wear an appropriate outfit to tie in!
Amanda is also able to provide a vocalist if required and dependent upon availability.
