We thought that the pre-occasion communication and their flexibility with the music type was excellent. They were punctual and set up efficiently without disrupting our function. Ken seemed to be their main link man and we found him friendly and accommodating. Their overall performance was just what we hoped for and all our guests enjoyed their music singing and dancing - especially the ceilidh dances we did. We are very pleased that we booked them.

Dear Tracey, Everything went really well on Saturday. The band were fantastic - really lively and everyone commented on how good they were. They were very professional - arriving in plenty of time, getting set up, checking out the running times and playing to time. Would definitely book them again. Booking process was all very easy as well. With thanks and best wishes.

A Ceili (pronounced ‘kay- lee’) is a gathering for music and dance and is one of the best ways to ensure that the people at your event meet each other in a FUN atmosphere… and no previous experience is necessary. Ceili dancing may involve large or small groups of people and is easy to pick up. The dances are pattern dances and may be done in lines, squares and circles. The caller will instruct you in each dance before you do it, ‘call’ the steps and supervise the dance once it starts. Getting the steps absolutely right is neither expected nor demanded. In fact, the object is to have FUN and lots of it!
Beer for Breakfast specialise in Ceili's for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, folk festivals, PTA's, corporate events and any other occasion (or excuse for a party) you can think of! From very large events to very small gatherings the band performs as a 5 piece, utilising one of three excellent callers, to give your event an Irish, Scottish or English flavor. The callers are all very experienced and there to make your event enjoyable and FUN.
Besides the Ceili sets, Beer for Breakfast are also able to perform traditional and contemporary Irish music, Celtic rock, Irish country and country!
2 hours playing time, consisting of 3 x 40 mins or 2 x 60 mins.
