Bestside are an extremely professional and talented duo who offer a wide variety of music from the 1950s right up to the latest chart songs.

Bestside consists of a singer / bass guitarist and guitarist / backing singer who use the highest quality backing tracks to deliver a fantastic sound and performance every-time.

They are renowned for creating a lively atmosphere and keeping the dance floor full at any party!

Bestside are an extremely professional, experienced and talented duo who offer a wide variety of music from the 1950s right up to the latest chart songs. Bestside performed at over 60 wedding/functions last year and received excellent feedback at every single one!

Bestside consists of a singer / bass guitarist and guitarist / backing singer who use the highest quality backing tracks to deliver a fantastic sound and performance every-time.

They are renowned for creating a lively atmosphere and keeping the dance floor full at any party!

Bestside offer a 'DJ option' if necessary, so they can provide first class entertainment for the entire night. This is only an addtional £110, which is considerably cheaper than what a good party DJ will charge. They will also learn that ‘special song’ for weddings and special occasions.

Both musicians worked professionally on a number of studio albums before forming Bestside.

Individually, Killian has received Grade 8 Distinction on Guitar and remains a highly sought after session guitarist whilst Daniel has worked on cruises as a professional singer.

As Bestside the two have played for 5 years in a vast number of top class venues throughout the country giving them the opportunity to perfect their ability to make any night a success.

Can I have any input on what songs Bestside play?

Yes! Remember it is your event and our goal is to keep you happy. However, our experience has taught us that the atmosphere of the night is much more important than what songs we specifically play. The memory you'll walk away with from an event Bestside has performed at is not what songs we played, but the memory of all your friends and family up on the dancefloor having a great night. Therefore, we have found that what is most important is for us to play upbeat songs to cater for all age groups and to ensure that everyone has a good time.

Once I've booked Bestside, what do I need to do?

Once a booking has been made we will be in touch to find out what you specifically have in mind for your event. You can be as involved as you want in planning the specifics of the night. We will need any songs you specifically want us to learn or to play as part of the dj set at least 3 weeks before the event.

Once I've booked Bestside, what are the chances they could cancel?

We take the privilege of playing somebody's wedding/function very seriously and would never let a client down. We demonstrated this when our van broke down en route to a wedding that had been booked through Warble. Rather than let the clients down, we paid an AA driver to tow our van the remaining 50 miles to the wedding. By the time we got home, after paying for our van to be towed to and from the gig, we had paid out more than we earnt, but the clients had a great night and that is what's most important to us.

Have Bestside got Public Liability Insurance?

Yes. Bestside are a professional act and thus meet all the health and safety requirements for any venue.

Our venue is really small / big, will this be a problem?

No. We have performed in people's living rooms and venues with a capacity of 1000 people. We have a number of different set-ups to cater for different types of venues. All we need is 2 standard plugs and an audience.

What times will Bestside perform at for my function / wedding?

We are very flexible with performance times and will make these decisions based on what you want. However, we strongly recommend that the first spot is not within an hour of the start time, so as to give guests the chance to properly greet each other before the party kicks off. It is also adviseable that the performance times do not clash with the times food is served.

Some of my guests will be elderly, will they find you too loud?

We never have this problem. One of the real advantages of using backing tracks is that we don't need to as loud as a full band with drums, which are always noisy! We always play at a comfortable volume that is sufficient to creat an atmosphere but not too loud for any of the guests.

What will I have to do on the night?

Just enjoy yourself! We recommend that you sort payment on our arrival and then you don't have to worry about anything else. We'll co-ordinate with the staff at the venue to deal with any problems that may arise throughout the night. We realise that playing at a function requires much more than simply performing, but also making sure the whole night runs smoothly.

What are the advantages of Bestside's DJ option?

1. It takes up less space than having a band and a separate DJ.

2. We have a high quality audio system that far exceeds what any normal DJ would provide.

3. We have 1000s of songs to chose from and use a professional computer program to fade songs into each other effectively to ensure there are no gaps in music throughout the night,

4. The night runs much more smoothly by having all your entertainment provided by one Act.

5. You'll only have one Act to pay and deal with on the night.

6. It will save us having to co-ordinate with a separate DJ.

7. Most importantly, its cheaper!!
