Champagne, a professional and slick 3, 4, 5 or 7 piece corporate, function party band from the North West of England comprised of the highest  quality musicians, who specialize in performing classic tracks from the wide ranging genres of Pop, Rock, Disco, Funk and Soul music.

So, what makes Champagne such a unique act? As well as performing as a 7 piece outfit, they can perform as a 3 piece band (female vocals, guitar and bass) and deliver the full sound of the 7 piece with the use of live sequencers. This innovative approach enables the band to perform all classics past and present with a seamless live performance and a sound to match.

If you prefer Champagne as a 4 piece (with drums), 5 piece (with Sax) or 7 piece (with Brass / Keys) for your event then that’s not a problem as the band is happy to accommodate to fulfill your needs.

Formed in 2006, the band have played countless corporate events from weddings, private parties, conferences, award ceremonies, sporting events and 5 star resorts in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland  and  Europe. Champagne is available for residency work in the UK and world wide during summer months.

The Band – History & Experience:

Chloe a singer / songwriter who has won many a prestigious singing competition. She has studied at  stage school, performed solo, in duos & corporate outfits notably working alongside an 80s legend.

Paul Guitar. He has vast experience in soul, pop, jazz & world music. He supported artists such as Stan Tracey & Clare Teal in the UK, Ireland & Europe playing at Glastonbury, Manchester & Edinburgh Festivals.

Aaron Bass / Vocals. After completing a Jazz Diploma he has taught  bass,  played  in duos, trios, tribute & original bands, toured the UK & Ireland & has recently set up a school of excellence for budding musicians.

My wife and I booked Champagne to perform at our wedding reception. Before we met the band were really helpful and spent quite a while understanding the kind of music we wanted and gave us really helpful advice on the best times for them to play. We booked Champagne as a 3 piece band (due to space constraints). Right from the first dance song (which they learned especially for our event), the quality of the performance was fantastic. Without exaggerating, I can safely say every one of our 72 guests that day came to me specifically to comment on how good the band were. I think it speaks for itself that from the moment they started playing, the dance floor was full. I cannot recommend Champagne highly enough, they really enhanced evening - it really would not have been the same without them. Champagne played at our wedding May 2011. Despite an unusual venue, the middle of a field, they were able to give us exactly the experience we were looking for. They played a varied set that suited all ages and really got people dancing and were open to considering set list requests in advance. PERFORMANCE TIMES
Performances can be split into 2 x 45 min or 2 x 60 min sets to suit the style of event and at a time of your choice. If you require different performance times this can be easily arranged. After gaining entry to the performance area, please allow Champagne 90 mins to fully set up.

EQUIPMENT
The band have  invested  in the best  possible  sound equipment  and  use a top of  the  range 2000 watt  Electro  Voice  PA system  with a  matched  pair subwoofer  speakers to provide  a  deep  and  true  sound. The system can easily handle most event types (up to 300 -400 guests). Champagne also have their own  self  contained  stage  lighting system 3  x  American DJ Mega Panels  and  2 x American DJ Moving Head both with 'sound-to-light' controllers as standard.

DRESS
The Band can tailor their look to suit your needs on the night. For Corporate Events or Weddings they can dress formally in suits or black attire and for private parties and less formal events they can take a more casual approach. If 70s is your bag then look out for the platforms, flares and the afros!!

ACOUSTIC SET
If you prefer a more contemporary sound during dinner drinks or a cocktail reception then The Sopranos can perform a selection of modern greats in style to fit the mood. This is performed as a 3 piece on guitar, bass and vocals. Performances can be split into 2 x 30min sets or a 1 hour set played at a time of your choice.

DJ SERVICE
The Band can offer to play  background music  between sets  in  the  form of iPod play lists or provide a free DJ Service via a member of the band or for  an  extra  fee  provide  a  professional self contained DJ. This has the advantage of being part of Champagne's team, working with the band night after night which offers an unrivalled understanding between the band and DJ ensuring a seamless transition between sets.

LEGAL
The band hold public liability insurance cover up to £1,000,000 and all their electrical equipment is annually PAT tested for safety. (Band will provide copies of these documents if the venue requires them).

Performances can be split into 2 x 45 min, 3 x 40 min or 2 x 60 min sets to suit the style of event and at a time of your choice. If you require different performance times this can be easily arranged.

Champagne are able to offer a 1 x 45 minute free Acoustic Set as part of the night time entertainment, or for an additional fee can perform 2 x 30 min sets in the afternoon which is perfect for drinks during Receptions or Wedding Breakfasts.

Champagne also offers a FREE DJ option that runs when the band are not performing. This is performed by a member of the band operating a laptop with proffessional DJ mixing software and 1000s of party classics old and modern to keep the dancefloor full! The benefits of this service are that your guests are able to make requests for the DJ to play, and with the DJ being a member of the band and sharing their equipment, the space utilised at the venue is kept to a minimum... and so looks very tidy.
