"Christopher’s magic show was superb; people were genuinely gobsmacked by it. The best party entertainment I think I’ve ever seen!” S. Millwood - private London event
Christopher's solo ‘cabaret show’ or ‘after dinner act’ is full of mind boggling magical feats and is tied together with an entertaining narrative and adds a mark of distinction to any event. His charming manner and baritone voice command the attention of the audience, proving that in reality, anything is possible. Often the cabaret show is presented as a 'finale show' to Christopher's close-up magic that was experienced during the reception earlier in the evening.
The act lasts 20 or 30 minutes.
Originally from the USA and a Member of the Magic Circle, he is a full time professional magician based in London who has performed both on TV and live, throughout the UK and internationally. Christopher presents his work for private, corporate, and high profile clients across the board.
Christopher’s engaging and polished style has been seen on such prestigious stages as The Barbican Hall, The Hackney Empire and more recently as he opened the premiere of the Edinburgh International Film Festival live on stage at the Festival Theatre.
Time Out
He's not just any entertainer but the wonderful Christopher.
A. Quayle, Artistic Director, Box of Tricks Theatre Company
I'd say he has to be seen to be believed but I still can't believe what I've seen.
Mrs. M. Guftafson, Reform Club
Christopher's cabaret show was the topic of conversation the rest of the evening!
Mrs. M. Obrart, private client
Your show was really thought-provoking and very funny, ... you presented it with great charm and humour... Every one of my guests has told me how much they enjoyed your input into the evening so thank you very much again for a most excellent evening's entertainment.
Mrs. L. Gilson, Event Organizer, Huntington Beach, California
…True professionalism, sultry and nuancy magic… A great talent!
Mr. R. Bryan, private client
Obviously, Christopher's skills are the result of many years of practice, patience and hard work -- this showed in his professional and absorbing act.

What are prices based on?
Christopher is based in London so travel is usually inclusive for that area. As tranportation fees can vary greatly depending on time of booking, for all other areas, travel costs for trains/flights will be added to the booking fee. A nominal fee for overnight accommodation has been added to 'away' quotes if the destination would likely require an overnight stay.
How long is the act?
There are usually two versions of the act performed that are 20 and 30 minutes long.
What sort of event is this act good for?
Because most of the act is spoken, this act requires a dedicated room where, during the performance, only this act is taking place (i.e. band is stopped, table service is stopped, other distractions are paused).
What if the audience is going to be more than 80-100 people?
Depending on seating arrangements, this show is usually suitable for up to 80-100 people seated close to stage when performed without video assistance. For over 80-100 people video screens may be helpful. See “What to do for larger audiences” below. For good visibility, it’s best if the audience is seated to the front or extreme front sides of stage
What sort of stage or performance area do you need?
1. A raised performance platform close to the audience is strongly encouraged but not necessary.
2. Performance area is minimum 3 metres wide and 2 metres deep is required. This area must be completely clear of any other materials or equipment.
3. Steps access into audience (if height so requires)
4. Stage needs to be indoors
Is there any technical rehearsal needed at the venue?
1. Yes, access to the performance space at least 2 hours before audience arrives
2. Any technical equipment (projector, screen and sound system) needs to be installed and ready to rehearse with 2 hours before audience arrives.
3. All sound / lighting technicians to be on hand 1 hour before audience arrives to run technical tests (or one hour before audience arrives)
4. If the client provides a camera technician, a rehearsal must be booked, details will be agreed with each individual booking
What technical support needs to be provided?
SOUND:
1. CD player or iPod port to play soundtrack on your sound system.
2. Technician to run sound and microphone and set up this equipment
3. Microphone: where necessary, a radio lapel microphone (NOT a standing or hand held microphone)
LIGHTING:
1. ‘Stage’ needs to have full stage lighting with lights close enough to stage and bright enough to fill stage area with strong light
What to do for larger audiences?
A projection screen and camera operator can be used to broadcast live close-up images of the on-stage action during the show. Please ask for further details.
