Cotton Club Burlesque brings lots of energy, fun and cheek as the Bombshells dance for your delight to the sensational sounds of 52 Skidoo, a three piece Harlem swing band.
Prepare yourself for a dazzling set of vintage American favourites such as ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’ and ‘The Joint is Jumpin’ alongside well known
hits like ‘Jeepers Creepers’ and ‘I Ain’t Got Nobody’ whilst the very talented Bombshells display jaw dropping aerial Burlesque.
The Cotton Club is great for 1920/30’s themed evenings as well as gangster, prohibition, speakeasy, art deco and cabaret events, available for public performances and private functions.

The show was superb at The Cinnamon Club on several occasions in 2010/11. We stepped back in time and transformed the club into a dimly lit Speakeasy which was brought to life by 52 Skidoo and The Bombshells. Always authentic, 52 Skidoo are a three piece Harlem swing band that turn back the clock to play the dazzling repertoire of Fats Waller in the style for which it was written. The Bombshells are feathered felines with twirling tassels, they shimmy a saucy striptease, comical “can can” plus many more... A fun loving package smothered in pouts and poses. They've been such a hit with our audiences that we've asked them back many times, it's always a sell out and never dissappoints.

Dance Styles:
A fusion of rhythm and acrobatics with tantalizing Burlesque Jazz.
Duration:
Two 45 minute live music sets with the dance acts spread intermittently throughout the evening.
2 x 45 minutes music with three dance performances in each set.
Music continues whilst dancers change/prepare for their next routine.
