Dai & The Dusty Keys regularly delight audiences of all ages with a variety of 1950s American hits. With a flexible line-up, they sound great as a duo, trio or quartet; the regular line up includes musicians who have worked alongside stars such as Van Morrison, Bob Geldof and Rolf Harris. Bandleader Dai has provided entertainment for numerous venues and private clients including The Oxo Tower Brasserie, The King's Head Theatre, China White, The Barbican, Marco Pierre White's in Stamford Bridge, Eversheds Law Firm and fashion designer Ted Baker.
Dai plays the guitar and sings. Previously, he has written, sung and twanged for soul band Spengler and psychedelic cumbia outfit Los Chinches.
Bob plays fiddle and tin whistle. Bob played with the Penguin Cafe Orchestra and has featured on albums by luminaries such as Van Morrison.
Rupert plays double bass and sings. He also plays with Franka De Mille, The Dead Victorians and Balkan troubadours Kuma Lisa.
Alan plays keys, both horizontal and vertical. He's recorded with legends such as folk singer Loudon Wainwright III, Bob Geldof and the mighty Rolf Harris.

Can you provide different line-ups?
Yes. The guide prices quoted here are for a four-piece band. We can also perform as a duo or trio.
Do you have your own lighting rig?
Unfortunately not.
Can you provide your own PA?
Yes.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, all regular band members are Musicians Union members and have public liability insurance.
Can you provide music between your sets?
Yes, at a small extra cost. However, this will be an iPod playlist rather than any kind of DJ set.
Can you dress smartly for a formal event?
We can dress more formally if that's what you require.
- A standard performance would be made up of two or three 45-minute sets, although the band aim to be flexible if you require something different.
