Bootleg Bowie UK, aka Nick Butcher, is a fantastic tribute to the awesome David Bowie. This highly entertaining one man show has been performed all over the UK and Ireland and even in the prestigious newly refurbished Savoy Hotel in London to top celebrities and fashion artists.
Expect all the Bowie classic hits from two great decades including three iconic costumes changes.
SET ONE...
The show starts with a musical introduction, which gradually builds to a crescendo before launching into the first song of the evening at which point Ziggy Stardust appears in full regalia - spandex catsuit, bright red spiky hair and silver glitter boots. The hits from this era quickly follow before the iconic character suddenly disappears and is replaced by another from Bowie's 1983 'Serious Moonlight' period. The hits keep coming mixed of course with all the characteristics and moves associated with this great artist, until the first set finally comes to a close.

SET TWO...
For this set a costume is taken from Bowie's more recent 'A Reality Tour', described by one critic as 'Shabby Chic Buccaneer'! The songs however remain classics from Bowie's 1970 and 1980 back catalogue, widely considered to be his best work. As the show finally nears the end and not before at least one more encore, the great man leaves the stage and waves a last goodbye on what will not only have been a great evening for all, but, also a trip back through time with an iconic legend, who changed the face of popular music and has been an inspiration to generations.
