Over the past 3 years, Distant Riser has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with having performed at venues and private weddings throughout the UK. The guys are also in demand as session musicians both playing and recording with some of the UKs top recording artists.
Distant Riser performs with flamboyance and a sense of humour. Distant Riser’s lead vocalist has a massive octave range and whilst one minute he is Johnny Cash the next he is Prince!!! Years of events have made him both professional and tuned in to the most important aspect of performance... entertaining. He will often wander into the crowd and dance along with those enjoying themselves.
Distant Riser is also able to offer an Acoustic Duo option for those mellower, more intimate moments.

Hi Tracey, Just writing to say a big thank you to Distant Riser. They were absolutely incredible and really brought the party alive when they played – the dance floor was never empty. Sorry guys to have given you such a hard song to play by special request – That’s What Friends Are For – but you did a great rendition even though it wasn’t your genre. Everyone said how wonderful you were and the sound quality was brilliant – as was the singing. Loved the way the guitarist played his guitar behind his head – very rock’n’roll! Thanks again for helping to make our evening extra special. (BTW – you didn’t have to keep mentioning our age!! – only joking.)

Distant Riser perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minutes of live music as standard.
As standard Distant Riser are happy to keep the party going when they are not performing by playing general party music through their PA. Alternatively, if you would like to run your own iPod through the band's PA Distant Riser are also happy to allow this.
