About Darren:
Darren is a High Quality Wedding DJ and Wedding Entertainment Specialist, however he is also equally at home working a corporate event or private party.
Darren has always had a great passion for music, and as a boy would look up at a Disco and know that it was something he wanted to do.
It was for his sisters wedding where he offered to provide the Disco using some hired equipment that really gave him his first experience doing his Dream Occupation. Well that really gave Darren the bug and it was not long after, that he was fully kitted out with the latest equipment and working at all styles of events.
Within a couple of years Darren had made it onto the club circuit playing at the now legendary London Limelight Club as twice weekly resident DJ.
Although Darren has worked at some fantastic venues, it was the mobile disco that really was where his heart was.
Today Darren still gets a buzz from seeing the guests dancing and smiling on the floor, and helping to make the bride and grooms or party host have that once in a lifetime event.
At home Darren is a Husband to wife Iva and a proud father to daughters Kimberley and Lucy, and would describe himself as a very happy family man!.

i) Special Wedding Disco Package
Darren welcomes playlists and always make sure the dance floor is kept full. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, that is why Darren created this Special Package to cover the whole days music in one unique package.
The Ceremony
Darren arrives at the venue to set up before your guests arrive, playing the music for your Ceremony if required. Often playing the music for the Ceremony is done by one of the venues staff or even a wedding guest, which can easily go wrong, however Darren will professionally work with your registrars to make sure the music is played at the correct times for the following important moments:
- The entrance of the bride
- The signing of the register
- The exit of the bride and groom
The Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast
Darren will then play beautiful background music during the champagne reception and meal (creating a more relaxed and fun atmosphere).
The set up during the daytime is both compact and discrete and can fit into any size venue, keeping the room looking stunning without lights or wires showing. Darren sets up the full disco later on, ready for the first dance. Playing a mixture of Jazz and Classic Love Songs from the likes of Michael Buble, Jack Johnson, Eva Cassidy and Sarah McLachlan to name just a few, however Darren is also happy to play any music of your choice.
Announcements
Darren will professionally announce any key proceedings if required including the following important moments:
- The Bride and Grooms Entrance (You might like Darren to play a special song for you as you enter the wedding breakfast room)
- The cutting of the cake
- The speeches
- The 1st dance
And naturally any other announcements that may occur.
If you have booked a professional Toastmaster, then Darren will provide a microphone if required.
Speeches
Darren will provide you with a crystal clear radio microphone for use during the speeches.
First Dance
Darren will professionally announce the bride and grooms first dance as husband and wife
Evening Disco
Darren will then supply the evening Disco to ensure your guests dance the night away in style.
This package will transform your wedding into the most memorable event that will stay with you forever. This wedding package represents excellent value for money.
Location
Darren mainly covers Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, London, the South East.
Something Different
Your wedding day is unique, and as such so is Darren's service. Darren can happily cater for your requirements if you would like something different.
For example;
- If you do not want a general multi colour lighting show and would like something to match your colour scheme, or something more simple, then Darren can offer you a computer controlled light show that is fixed on a colour of your choice. A soft pink or elegant white light show looks very stunning.
- If you do not require traditional disco lighting, Darren can offer a sophisticated and elegant light system using his led uplighting mixed with colour wash lighting to give you that modern, elegant look.
You can book the Special wedding disco package with or without Led Uplighting.
ii) Evening Disco Option
A professional DJ package with a quality light show and a sound system.
Playing a great selection of music that will guarantee to keep the dance floor busy all night long.
Darren always welcome playlists, as he know how important it is to be able to play all of your favourite songs. Darren naturally welcomes requests from your guests during the party. He will always professionally make any required announcements during the function, but rest assured, Darren is not the sort of DJ who likes to talk unnecessary over all of the songs! The light show is often described as 'Elegant' or 'Funky', using the best modern equipment. This light show is computer controlled so that Darren can easily create stunning colour lighting to match your colour scheme or enhance your venue.
If you would prefer the light show a little more tailored Darren can offer the following;
- If you do not want a general multi colour lighting show and would like something to match your colour scheme, or something more simple, then Darren can offer you a computer controlled light show that is fixed on any colour of your choice. Karaoke and Dance floors:
Darren is able to add karaoke to any of the above functions if required for a small extra fee.
Darren also provides dance floors should you require one to be added to your event. Parquet, Black and White, All White, All Black and also the Black and white, black or white twinkle dance floors with the white led twinkle lights that flash to the music - a perfect complement to any party.
- The Special Wedding Disco Package is typically a whole day event. Darren will set up before the ceremoy until the end of the evening.
- Darren does charge an extra fee per hour after midnight.
- The Evening Disco is based on up to 5 hours.
