AMAZING!!!!!!! Is the first and only word that pops in to my mind when I think about FoTB playing at our wedding on Fri 8th Feb 2013. Hi Tracey, I wanted to leave some feedback for the guys. Myself and all of the guests thought FoTB were great. Booking a band for an event like a wedding, especially when you have no personal recommendations, made me a little nervous given the potential for things to go wrong. However, I thought: your website was excellent giving a selection of bands, with play lists and the video snippets really helped, the booking process and your response to queries was quick and easy, the guys were very professional, turned up on time, responded well to requests from the guests, even spending some time in their van rehearsing an Erasure track they were asked to perform (don't worry I'm not an Erasure fan, it was meant as a joke). Everyone enjoyed the music and playing the motown tracks during the DJ interlude gave the oldies something to get up and dance to. We had a great day and FoTB contributed massively to this! Thankyou

If you are sitting deliberating as to whether booking FOTB for your wedding/event is a good idea or not then let me tell you whole heartedly, 100% and without a shadow of a doubt it is! Just book now! FOTB are not only a brilliant live band, they are also a set of the nicest lads you're likely to meet. They played for us at our wedding on 20th July 2012 and I lost count of the number of friends, family and guests that commented on how good they were and asked me where I'd found them! Throughout our contact with them from setting up the song list, to introducing themselves on the day right up to packing up at the end they handled themselves professionally and so politely. The members of the band greeted both me and my wife, introduced us for our first dance and then took to their instruments and delivered a fantastic performance. They got the party going with song after song of well known tunes both new and old, even my Dad got up and then we couldn't get him to sit back down as he did his version of the Mick Jagger strut and his very own 'pizza dance' - don't ask... FOTB ended the night on a quieter song and even called out over the microphone to make sure it was ok to play it, making sure the audience wanted a quiet one as the final song. FOTB accommodated our every wish and exceeded our expectations by far. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone and wish them every success in the future :)

Hi Matt, My apologies for not replying sooner but we only got back from honeymoon early this morning. I'm over the moon to be able to give feedback about "Friends of the Bride" as they are a fabulous set of guys and really helped make our wedding reception! The band totally threw themselves into their set and seemed to enjoy themselves as much as we did. The dance floor was bouncing all evening and (although I'm probably biased!) it was without doubt the best wedding reception I've been to!! I honestly don't think there was a single moment when the dance floor wasn't full and the atmosphere was fantastic. We've had a deluge of comments from family and friends and they seemed to appeal right across the spectrum. They finished to huge cheers and chants of "we want more" to which they very kindly obliged. I'm not sure how long their second set was but I have a feeling it was quite a bit longer than 60 minutes!! I wish them all the best of luck for their future and will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a band.

Hi Matt thanks once again for your recommendation of Friends of The Bride to play on our wedding day. The band were extremely professional and contacted us prior to the gig to see if we had any special requests. We asked them to learn a song for our first dance which they did happily. The Wedding Package
Because Friends of the Bride realise that every Wedding is different they are happy to build a bespoke package just for you. This has proven extremely popular with many couples and could include:

• Earlier Set-Up - to avoid disturbing the ambience if everything is taking place in the same room
• Late Finish - whilst most venues are licensed until midnight, Friends of the Bride realise that some are fine to continue the celebrations until 1am or 2am.
• First Dance - wherever possible, Friends of the Bride will learn your first dance song providing enough prior notice is given and the song is within the style of the band. If this is not possible the band will be happy to play your first dance via their PA / DJ equipment
• DJ service - to help minimise costs Friends of the Bride are able to provide a DJ option (with PA and lighting) to ensure that when they aren't performing the party will carry on! This means that requests can be taken from the song choices that the guys will have available

Please Note: As standard, and at no extra fee,  Friends of the Bride will  provide party music before, in between and after their performances.

As standard Friends of the Bride perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets.

Because Friends of the Bride want you to have the whole night's entertainment sorted when you hire them, the band offers a FREE DJ option that runs when the band are not performing.

The DJ option is performed by a member of the group operating a laptop with the most current DJ mixing software and party classics on hand to keep the party jumping! The benefits of this service are that your guests are able to make requests for the DJ to play, and with the DJ being a member of the band and sharing their equipment, the space utilised at the venue is kept to a minimum... and so looks very tidy.
