A bunch of musicians politely going through the motions? No way!

FunKtionality have boundless energy and enthusiasm and are possibly the most infectious thing since measles.

If you want to see horn players start a conga-line, or singers serenading people (even outside the room!) or even a bass player doing an occasional backslide across the dance floor mid-song, then this is the band you need to book!

FunKtionality are the Ultimate Party People! This is one band that will know how to WOW you musically and exhaust you visually! That's not to say they can't tone it down and be well-behaved if you want something a little more low-key, mellow or sophisticated.

FunKtionality are able to tailor their performance and music exactly to your specification with their repertoire including a generous spoonful of every ingredient required for an unforgettable performance; from rock n' roll, pop, funk, soul, disco, rock and jazz. Whatever your preference they will add an extra helping and keep you coming back for more.

The band are equally happy / energetic / at home and put on just as good show in small intimate venues (including restaurants, converted barns, private houses, marquees etc & without necessarily having a stage / backdrop & all the pomp & production of a large event / venue!).

FunKtionality have enjoyed playing to a select gathering of 50 guests as much as to a heaving crowd of over 5,000 & adapt perfectly to any surrounding & situation, you won't find any divas, tantrums or tiaras in this band!

FunKtionality pride themselves on alway giving 100% and making each individual event a reason to keep their great name going with positive gossip on the grapevine.

Dear Tracey, On behalf of EThames Graduate School let me thank Warble Entertainment Agency for all the services and helping us to make our Christmas Party and Cultural Programmes a Grand success! WOW, Wonderful, Superb, Fantastic - what a band!" This is what so many of our guests said to us on and after our wedding day. You simply were SUPERB.

FunKtionality really have performed for and with some of the most esteemed clients and at the most lavish venues... for example members of the band have played, toured and recorded with Tom Jones, Duffy, Kylie, BBC Big Band, Jamie Cullum, Westlife, Phil Collins, Girls Aloud, Madness, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Rod Stewart, Bryan Adams, and have performed at Sir Paul McCartney's wedding and Sir Elton John's birthday! Oh, and did we forget to mention featuring in the house bands of Michael Parkinson, Stars In Their Eyes, Children In Need, Royal Variety Performance and Strictly Come Dancing. Plus... blockbuster movies such as Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, King Arthur, Thunderbirds, Wallace and Grommit and Beyond The Sea. Then there are the West End shows to, including, Chicago, The Producers, Saturday Night Fever, The Ratpack Show and many more. Oops, we nearly forgot Her Majesty The Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla- at The Grand Ballroom in Buckingham Palace!

FunKtionality are perfect for every age and range of audience. A small sample of their previous clients includes; Mitsubishi, Emirates, Cadburys, TK Maxx, Terence Conran, Fulham Football Club, Legoland, Watford Football Club, Green King IPA, Coca-Cola, Tropicana, Honda, HSBC, Tesco, Sony, Comet, Metropolitan Police, Orange, Henri-Lloyd, Mercedes, numerous university balls, charity events, The BBC's 'The Choir' outdoor festival, weddings, birthdays and more. The band has also played for the Hilton and Sheraton Hotel Groups New Year's Grand Ball in Dubai, Thailand and Egypt, at weddings in Lake Como, Lyon, Dublin, and at Cowes Yachting Week and the World Powerboat Finals in Dubai!

FunKtionality may be booked in various line ups from 6 - 10 piece and beyond. Their standard formation is an 8 piece, featuring driving rhythm players, the dancing & percussion shakin' horns, and male / female lead vocalists (plus, backing / lead vocals from in the band). This can be trimmed to a 6 piece without horns, or augmented with percussionist, additional horns, singers and dancers - the sky's the limit.

Also, and at no extra cost FunKtionality provide a disco as a warm-up and between sets, tailored to your tastes and able to take requests on the night.

As well as the famously funky party band, FunKtionality are also able to 'slip into something more comfortable' if your event has a special theme.

Whether it is a flare-fest from the sequinned Studio 54 doing all that's groovy from the 70s, shouting Aloha! in a beach party theme in grass skirts with the Hawaii 5-0s, donning a naughty schoolgirl uniform as The Prefects to whisk you back to school, maybe Catwoman, Superman and Co. as The Movie Band, or even getting 'shagadellic baby' in an Austin Powers theme with Mojo, Horror Zombies, Pirates, Mardi Gras - whatever you fancy, let us know, we'll always try and accommodate!

FunKtionality are also able to offer a ‘70s or ‘80s set in costume, a 30 minute James Bond tribute Octopussy, or background / reception entertainment with their jazz ensemble. They can also provide 'stings' for walk-ons, fanfares etc for awards ceremonies, plus breakdancers, plus a vocal / guitar duo / trio for receptions.

They can also play a 12-15 minute Israeli medley, plus God Save The Queen and the Hatikvah for Jewish functions.

EXTRAS TO BOOK:

We also have a 'Big Band' on request, playing Swing / Ratpack style favourites (bigger line-up required).

Plus, we have Pop Idle - our live band karaoke, we play, YOU sing... we provide lyrics / encouragement!

Duo / Trio: usually Vocals / Acoustic Guitar, including light pop, mellow, jazz, blues etc. for uptempo funky / mellow background.

Solo Sax: with & without backing tracks, if acoustic & nice weather can wander outside & play.

Dancers: Street dance / hip hop or 'club' style!

Starcloth: to go behind the band as they play

Flame Effect Lights: 2 x 5 ft high, wave around via an internal fan for a glowing 'live flame' effect, great for either side of a large stage / playing area.

There really is something for everyone & every style of party!

The usual sets are 2 x 60 mins, or a long uninteruped set if you prefer for maximum energy of 1 hour and 45 mins.
