Joanne Goode BBC Radio London
This is perfect for this show, it’s a great late night listen.... Really wonderful stuff the guys a great vocalist, Gordon he translates classics with his cool jazz voice, I love stuff like that, it just gets you going doesn’t it ...... it’s just perfect, just perfect.

Alan Barnes (2010 Winner of 4 British Jazz awards)
A voice that covers the whole range from soft sensitive ballads to belting rock, all with a wonderful sense of conviction, taste and soul. A great album featuring imaginative arrangements and superb singing- Gordon really can get inside a song and, a rarity indeed, isn't dependent on microphones to carry his powerful voice.

John Etheridge (described by Pat Metheny as one of the best guitarists in the World)
Gordon has a superb gritty, bluesy, soul voice that really hits the spot when he lets rip........ arrangements really good and great vocals. I particularly like it when he opens up those chords and gives out with that really gravelly, soulful voice.

Colette Crow, 70th Party
Thank you Gordon for making my fathers 70th birthday a night to remember. Everything was perfect from your smooth sounds to your fabulous repertoire. Guests could not compliment you enough and neither could I. It was so nice that you willing to take the time to ensure any special requests were catered for on the night. Thank you once again.

George Melly, Jazz Critic and Writer
No need for labels, no need indeed, what label could you apply anyway. This CD is soaked in jazz feeling, played by technically immaculate musicians interpreting fine tunes in which those composed by the band leader/vocalist himself need fear no challenge. Gordon's voice is unique and his own. Altogether a thoughtful and delightful collection.

Ian Fenton, Harmonia Mundi
FMR have discovered a gem in Gordon. With a rich soulful voice and understated delivery he is a must for "dinner jazz" fans. As well as original compositions "no need for labels" features superb covers of "Nights in white satin", "What a difference a day makes", "The long and winding road" and Lionel Riche's "Hello".

Thanks for your brilliant performance. We have been inundated with Thank you letters and emails all of which have been highly complementary about the band; it really did make it a brilliant event! Many Thanks.

Chris & Viv Lee, Jazz Trumpeter & Wedding Client
Thank you for a fantastic performance; you made our evening very special. Gordon's vocals were first class and his backing band soulful and entertaining at all times. We felt at ease the whole evening because everyone enjoyed the band so much. We had a diverse cross-section of guests but everyone found the band to their liking. The band were fun, entertaining, very accommodating, but most of all - SOULFUL. So many bands run through a set of tired old standards with all the verve of an office typing pool on a Friday afternoon - this band are different; they actually love what they are doing and the guests at our reception loved every minute.

Pete Ryder, Birthday Party
Just to let you know that everybody really enjoyed the party, as you could probably see on the night. The venue and catering were excellent, but most of all, you and your band were fantastic. After the party, I received all the thank you calls; your band was the topic of much of all the conversations. Many could not believe just how good you were. For me, the whole night seemed to pass so quickly. You helped to make it something that will be difficult to beat. You were the talk of the restaurant the next day. Thank you for a great night.

Helen Plummer, Events and Promotions Manager, The Royal Automobile Club
The thrill of an up-tempo Latin-pop fusion brought the room alive, and the cool vivacious sounds of Latin Soul enticed you down the stairs. Accomplished duo Gordon and Dominic expertly weaved around some familiar songs in their own unique and relaxed style.

Claire & Matt Pollen, Wedding Client
You did a brilliant job, everyone commented on it. Thank you for helping to make our day so wonderful.

David Finar, Birthday Party
Just a quick "thank you". We have been inundated with Thank you letters and e-mails all of which have been highly complementary about the band, you really did make it a brilliant event!
