*Jack really will make your next event both magical and unforgettable*
Under the spell from the tender age of 10, Jack has been into magic for the past 30 years. He didn't have much choice really as his grandfather invented and made magic tricks and his father dabbled in magic and taught Jack how to master the well-known cups and balls trick, which he used as a party piece to entertain friends and family when he was growing up.
Fast forward to age 21 and Jack joined his first magic society the Wessex Magical Association based in Bournemouth, where he was drafted at the time, during his 22 years service with the Royal Marines. Later drafted to the west country, Jack decided to join the Plymouth Magic Circle where he has served as President and is currently an Inner Member - a privileged membership that you acquire after about ten years.
During his service career, Jack carried on with magic as a hobby and could often be found entertaining at the Officers' Mess. Since leaving the Royal Marines in 1996, Jack turned professional and has honed his magic skills and technique, gaining rave reviews not only for his relaxed intimate style but also for his sheer professionalism.
May 2003 saw Jack performing by Royal Appointment. The performance, at an exclusive inauguration ceremony of P & O's 'White Sisters', Adonia and Oceana, which was attended by many distinguished guests. The naming and bottle splash of these two ships was carried out by HRH The Princess Royal and her daughter, Miss Zara Phillips on her first royal engagement.
The Spring 2005 edition of Plymouth life Magazine profiled Jack in an article entitled "Abracadabra". This looked at Jack's career as a magician, from watching his grandfather make magic tricks and his first performances as an eager 10 year old, to more recent engagements across the South West UK and beyond.
Over Christmas 2008 the Ministry of Sound Egypt hired Jack to work in the bars of Hurghada Marina Boulevard.

Dennis Hall, Wedding, Devon
I have been meaning to drop you a line, but like most things since the wedding they’ve been put on the back burner, apologies. The wedding was amazing, and you helped set the standard with your excellent close up magic. All the comments I received were extremely positive and I wish we had been able to book you all afternoon so that you could have continued to perform your magic once we had all been seated for the Wedding Breakfast, as it is, you generously gave us 90 minutes of your time before rushing off to your other booking, and we’re very grateful for that.
Scott & Wendy-Jane Mitchell, Wedding, Cornwall
A belated note to say thank you very much for the superb entertainment you provided at our Wedding Party at Scorrier House on 18th May, which was very much appreciated.
Katie & Graham Fisher, Wedding, Devon
