Rosanna and Anthony Griffiths, Wedding in Willoughby-on-the-Wold, Leicsestershire
Jamie, we just wanted to thank you for your amazing performance at our wedding. You are truely talented and exceeded our expectations. You helped give us our perfect day and for that we can't thank you enough. Good luck with fatherhood. All the best.
Hollie and Scott Englefield, Wedding at 'Scarborough Hill Country Inn', Norwich
One of the most difficult things for me and my Husband when planning our wedding was deciding on the entertainment for the reception. I really wanted a DJ but Scott (my Husband) did not want that as he found them annoying and wanted a singer, which I did not want, this therefore caused a few arguments. I was looking on Google one day and came across Jamie's website and after much discussion we decided to book him. It was the best decision we had made, we got the best of both worlds - a singer and also music like a DJ would play in his breaks, but I am really glad we did not just go for a DJ in the end. Jamie is a brilliant singer. From the very first email to the moment he left at the end of the night he always gave outstanding service, nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He replied extremely quickly to emails or phone calls, I never had to wait no more than a day a day for a reply and if it was longer he would always apologise for not getting back sooner. One thing the guests will remember at any wedding is the entertainment, if it is rubbish then they will forget but if it is excellent then they will remember and talk about it for many weeks after and I found this with ours, all the guests loved Jamie and have not stopped talking about how good he was. The songs he played were brilliant. Every time I went to go and talk to a guest he played a good song and I ended up leaving the guest and back on the dance floor. One of the most memorable moments of the day for me, apart from the wedding service, was the song my Dad had asked Jamie to dedicate to Scott, which was Bobby Vee's 'Take Good Care of my Baby'. I knew he was going to play that song so I decided to listen to it on You Tube before the day. Jamie was 1000 times better! Hearing it live was incredible I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful Jamie's voice came across. I cried in my Dad's arms when he sang it as it really touched my heart as I knew that I was no longer his little girl. When I looked up half the room was crying too. I will treasure this moment forever. Jamie is worth every single penny and I would recommend him to anybody looking for an extremely talented singer. Thank you once again Jamie for making what was a magical day for us even more magical. It was an absolute pleasure to have you part of our day.
Samantha and Rob Baker, Wedding at 'Prested Hall', Feering, Essex
Hi Jamie. I just wanted to say a MASSIVE MASSIVE thank you for making our wedding say so special. We absoloutely loved the music (as you could tell from all my dancing) and the guests have been saying it was the best wedding music they have heard! Thank you very much and we will be using you again for any future events we may have. Take care, and thanks once again.
Katy Max, 40th Birthday Party in Potten End, Hertfordshire
Hi Jamie. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for playing at James' party on Saturday. Your choice of music was brilliant and everyone commented on what a great voice you have. A personal favourite for me was the Pulp Fiction dance off, but really all of it was great. I would not hesitate to recommend you and I think all of the people at the party would agree. Thanks again.
Brian & Michelle Gilroy, Wedding at Polhawn Fort, Rame Peninsular, Cornwall
It's been almost a year since you played for us at Polhawn Fort in Cornwall. We've been meaning for ages to post a comment, but the anniversary has finally made us do it! We came across Jamie when searching for someone to play at our Wedding, and instantly fell in love with his choice of songs and style of playing. We dealt with many suppliers, from chair covers to caterers, but from first contact, Jamie was by far the most professional. He knew what we wanted more than us! Our guests loved him, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend him. If possible we'd have him back for the anniversary too! Thanks again and best of luck in everything you do.
Ileen & Maneesh Patel, 40th Birthday Party in Bromley, Kent
Thank you so much for helping to make Manny's 40th Birthday party a night to remember. Your music and lighting made for the perfect atmosphere, so much so that even the most reluctant of dancers go up onto the dance floor that night. Our guests were very impressed....a great mix of songs and music styles...something for everyone! We loved it...best Birthday present ever!! Lots of love and we will definitely think of you next time we have a big occasion to celebrate.
Liam & Sarah Hutchings, Wedding at 'Blake Hall', Ongar, Essex.
Hi Jamie, just wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for playing at our wedding on 24 June. You really helped to make the day really special for us, from your superb acoustic set during our service to your interactive evening set. Anyone that I have spoken to since the wedding has said how good you were, you catered for everything from my friends requesting random songs to even playing 'Postman Pat' for all the children (genius). Anyone celebrating a special occasion should look no further than booking you, it will be be the best money they could spend. Thanks again.
Fiona & Chloe de Caux, 21st Birthday Party at 'King Edward Hall', Heywards Heath, West Sussex
Hi Jamie, we just wanted to write and say a huge thank you for all you did for us on Saturday. It was a fantastic evening and felt your music totally made the evening! We've had so much positive feedback about you and are so grateful for your performance. Hope you got back home ok and perhaps see you one day in the future given how many of our friends and family requested your name!
Martin & Samm Gurney, Wedding at 'Wetherle Manor', Weston-Under-Wetherle, Warwickshire
Dear Jamie, on behalf of Samm and I, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your performance on our wedding day - Friday 10th June. As you know, we were a little apprehensive about booking a live acoustic guitarist for our evening wedding entertainment as it is not perhaps the obvious choice, however to say that you were absolutely excellent does not do you justice. Every single one of our guests was amazed at the breadth and depth of sound that one very obviously talented man can get from a guitar. The energy of your performance was incredible, you made Samm and I feel really special and as you saw for yourself everyone had a fantastic time. We are so very pleased that you worked with us before the event itself to allay all of our concerns and to ensure that your song choices matched exactly what we wanted. Music is a big part of our life and was always intended to be an important part of our wedding day. You surpassed all of our expectations. The icing on the cake of a perfect day. Love, Martin and Samm.
Claire & Dominic Waddell, Wedding at 'The Pumphouse', Bristol, Avon
Dear Jamie, one very big thank you from the bottom of my heart for your lovely performance on our wedding day. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations before the big day too - your customer service skills are outstanding. It was just what I wanted and the song selection was fantastic and truely I could not have wished for a better person to give us music to enjoy. Our first dance was just lovely. We hadn't practiced but you had and I shall always love my memories. Thank you. I hope your success continues and rubs of on your footie team! (Man United -Ed). Sending you love and light.
Bridget & Nigel Ashton, Newlyweds Party at 'Dunstan Hall', Norwich, Norfolk
Dear Jamie, it was so lovely to meet you, eventually, after our various e-mails. I really felt I knew you and I must say I am SOOO glad that we found you and had you to play at Scott and Sarah's Newlyweds Party. You were just perfect for what we wanted and even had people up on the floor dancing, in the afternoon!! Truly amazing, especially as there were several 'worse for wear' people around you but you certainly got them revved up again, giving us another fabulous day. Your choice of songs was excellent together with your fine voice and guitar skills. I know that several guests are intending to contact you for future events. Nigel and I are seriously thinking of another excuse for a party and will absolutely need you to perform for us. We will be in touch. Thank you Jamie for everything. Our very best wishes until next time.
Suzanne and John, Wedding at 'East Lodge', Matlock, Derbyshire
Hi Jamie, we just wanted to say thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special. Your performance created just the right atmosphere from the ceremony through the drinks reception to the evening party. Your singing and playing were a hit with everyone despite the wide range of ages of our family and friends. Thanks again.
Gary & Ayesha Das, Wedding at 'Channels Golf Club', Chelmsford, Essex
Dude you were seriously the biggest hit at the wedding, with the exception of Ayesha and I of course!! Everyone was seriously loving the music, your voice and it wouldn't have been the same without you!!!
Ed & Szende Wilson, Wedding at 'Egypt Mill', Nailsworth, Gloucestershire
Dear Jamie, Szende and I would just like to say another big thank you for your performance at our Wedding. Everyone really enjoyed it and many commented on what a great job you did. It was perfect. We couldn't of wished for more. We would love to come down and see you play again sometime. Thanks again.
Peter & Irene Ford, 25th Wedding Anniversary, Horsham, West Sussex
Several of the people who attended our party would pay to see you again, as we would too of course! You have been a real pleasure to deal with. Very efficient, professional and patient from start to finish - and that makes a change these days!
Katie Jones, Wedding at 'Braxted Park', Witham, Essex
Hi Jamie. I know we've sent a card but just wanted to say a big thank you for performing at our wedding at Braxted Park. You were really brilliant, and played such a great range of songs. My now husband hadn't been sure about booking you, because you dont really know until the day whether it will be a success. But obviously I was right! And you were a success. You were brilliant with the song choices that were being thrown your way aswell - sorry about the Bob Dylan fan!! I will be sure to recommend you to any of my friends, good luck with rest of your career.
Sue Wallace, Wedding at 'Holiday Inn Express', Ilford, London
Hi Jamie. I find myself in a most unusual situation where my vocabulary does not extend far enough to tell you how wonderful I thought you were when you played at my wedding on Monday. Obviously I had hoped and thought that I made the right choice when I hired you but you performed beyond my wildest expectations and the banter with your adoring audience, including the mini-maniac toddlers, was magic. Your performance at the ceremony was perfect, absolutely perfect, couldn't have been better. I have lost count of how many people have asked me where I found you and said how good they thought you were. Thank you so very much Jamie, I am thrilled that you played at our wedding and wouldn't hesitate for a single second to call on you again should I ever make another function of any sort........ok stop groaning! You made a huge contribution to making my day magically perfect and I'll certainly never forget your amazing performance. I wish you every success in the future, you certainly deserve it.
Tracy Shelton, Wedding at ''Langar Hall', Langar, Nottingham
Every part of the booking and act was very professional and stress free. You had been recommended to us but we still wouldn't know until the end of the evening just how well you did. I am very pleased to say that we thought you were fantastic and so did our guests. All thought your choice of songs, length of performance and voice were brilliant. Thanks for making our evening so enjoyable. We couldn't of wished for a better night of entertainment.
Catrional Russell, Garden Party, Stanbridge, Bedfordshire
Hi Tracey, Hope you had a nice weekend. Just wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know how much we enjoyed Jamie's performance at the weekend. He was great and really added to the atmosphere of our party. He was also good at getting the crowd going and was happy to perform requests and even allow me to sing (although in hindsight he may have realised this was a mistake!). I shall certainly be recommending him to anyone looking for a great musician.
Les & Jackie Carey, Memorial Party, Wokingham, Reading
Hi Jamie, Many thanks for a superb night of music on Saturday in memory of my dear best friend Terry. Your performance was excellent and was appreciated by all the different aged groups there. Your choice and balance of music was first class and people even phoned me on Sunday to congratulate me for the arrangements and asking for your contact details for future reference. They all thought your performance and singing was excellent and it was a shame you had to finish at 12 Midnight. Terry's close family also thought your were superb and very professional and loved your voice. I will definitely call upon you again for my next live music party and will definitely recommend you to my friends, family and work colleagues. My only criticism would be that you don't support the best football team in England, the mighty 'Gooners'. All the best and look forward to seeing you perform again soon. Keep in touch and let us know if you are performing again over in Berkshire at an event we can come to.
Anna Freeman, 40th Birthday Party, Maldon, Essex
Thank you so much for making the party so brilliant on Saturday - everyone said how much they enjoyed your singing and playing and you were able to create the perfect atmosphere from start to finish. Lots of positive comments about the music. It was fantastic to have everyone up dancing and singing and you definately have a talent for getting the 'feel' of the people in the room. Thanks also for your patience at the planning stage and for taking the time to listen to what we wanted. I have no hesitatiion in recommending you to all my friends and family. Thanks again for an amazing night - please let me know if you are playing in this area. Take care and thanks again.
Emma Tant, Wedding Breakfast, Wandsworth, London
Scott and I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the fantastic entertainment that you provided on Saturday night. Our day was filled with fun and laughter and the atmosphere at the reception was fantastic, it was lovely to look around the room and see everyone singing along. The mix of songs that you sang was just right and I can't thank you enough for the Take That and Bon Jovi! Once I get the official photo's through I will send some of them on to you. Thank you once again.
Phil Pennack, 40th Birthday Party, Chelmsford, Essex
Just a quick message to say thank you very much for Saturday night. Everybody was very impressed with you and had a great evening. Very positive feedback from all. Rob Fox, 60th Birthday Party, Chelmsford, Essex
Hi Jamie, Just wanted to write a quick note to say thank you for making my mums 60th one to remember. Guests have been calling to thank us for organising such a memorable and enjoyable party, and much of the success is due to the great mix of music that was covered during our event by you to suit all ages and tastes. We've had so many comments from friends and family about how great you were - we expect to see you at all of our friend's weddings! Thanks again.
Robert Craske, Wedding Reception, Birmingham, West Midlands
Jamie - A top chap and musician. Great live music and entertainment, especially for lovers of guitar music from Beatles, Elvis to Radiohead, Oasis and Kings of Leon. Jamie was very professional in his setup and organisation for the night. This really helped take the pressure of my wedding day and it was really special to have the First Dance played live just for me and my wife. Very recommended.
John Saxton, Birthday Garden Party, London
I was concerned to start that Jamie would not be able to get the party swinging as we had such a wide age range... "WRONG" no such problem! Everybody comented on his great performance and the way he is able to play that guitar with no backing music was incerdible! We had a fantastic night, thanks Warble and a big thanks to Jamie, good luck in the future mate!!!!
Madelein Odendal, 40th Birthday at 'The Headley',Brentwood, Essex
Jamie was exactly what I expected. Arrived on time, friendly, great talent and received LOADS of compliments through the night! If I need to do it again, I will do exactly the same!
Rachel & Simon Cushing, Wedding at 'The Swan',Southwold, Suffolk
We would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding reception in March. We thought you were fabulous. We are so grateful to you for taking the trouble to learn our 'first dance' at such short notice - you did a superb version. Since the wedding all our guests have been complimenting you. The music that you played and the way you played it really got everyone going and it was great to see so many people dancing the night away. We would have no hesitation in booking you again should we ever have a party to organise. Similarly we would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone looking to book you in the future. Thanks again for helping us make our day so perfect and special.
Gavin & Kim Dobson, Wedding at 'The Oakhouse', Maldon, Essex. April 2009
As I think most of the wedding party told you through the night, your performance, song choice and the atmosphere created was fantastic. Both of us are huge music fans and we we’re delighted to hear some of the new tunes you’d learnt, kicking off with the Kings of Leon set the tone for the rest of the night! Everyone commented how the music was like no other wedding they’d been to and it made the reception just the kind of fun, energetic and memorable evening we hoped for – I don’t think we’ve ever danced so much and for so long! We wanted an upbeat atmosphere for the reception and this was assured with the quality of performance and the song choice that suited everyone’s taste. No one could believe it was just you up there on your own - it felt like a whole band was in the room! We knew we’d made the right choice even before you performed and since the wedding everyone has kept talking about the music it went down so well. Again, thanks for making it such a great night, I’ve had a number of guests asking or your details for upcoming parties and events so I’ve happily passed these on. We’re both keen to come to another gig in the future, so please let us know when you’re playing in the area.
Nikki Ribbands, Wedding at Bawdsey Manor, Bawdsey, Suffolk
Hi Jamie, just wanted to say thanks so much for playing at our wedding (ceremony and drinks reception) on 28th March. It was everything we hoped it would be & we've had loads of comments about how good you were. Planning to have a church blessing in the summer & another party - so maybe another date for your diary if you're up for it!

I would like to thank you very much for making our evening such a hit! We all enjoyed it so much and your choice of music was 'spot on'. Our guests also thought you were extremely talented and I would have no reservations in recommending you to all my friends and family. Thanks once again.
Julie Ladell, Birthday Party, Bury St Edmunds
Hi Jamie, just wanted to say thanks for last Saturday night, everyone who attended the party thought that you were fantastic and hope that I ask you back for the next one, which I most certainly will do.
Adrian Stout, Wedding at 'The King of Hearts', Norwich
Jamie was excellent throughout, superb selection of songs and everyone commented on how good he was! Quality, showmanship and a great set list.

For anyone reading this, if you are considering hiring Jamie for a special event, then we highly recommend him. We hired Jamie for our wedding reception and the guests haven't stopped talking about how great he was. Our wedding was small with 40 guests and we wanted a live singer for the evening so guests could either sit there and enjoy the music / sing along or dance if they wanted to. The age range of our guests was from 30s to 60s and the music Jamie sang met everyone's taste by singing popular songs everyone would know (and not the tacky ones like you get with DJs). Jamie arrived well before he was due to start. We hired Jamie from 8pm till midnight and during his break he arranged for music to be played, which was one less thing we had to worry about. Jamie is very professional at the event and in the preparation before the event. To be honest I had never hired a live singer before and Jamie's professionalism in understanding our requirements was excellent. Jamie provided us with a list of songs for us to review in case we wanted to add or remove any. We didn't remove any songs but added songs we liked which Jamie learnt for us. One of the songs he sang for us was our 'first dance', which made it very special. Jamie also went to the venue well in advance of the wedding to check where he would be setting up and liaised direct with the venue manager on our behalf. Jamie then confirmed to us how he was going to set-up his equipment with timings and ensured it was ok with us (which it was). Jamie set up all his equipment before our guests arrived for the pre-reception at 2:30pm. So when he arrived at 8pm he wouldn't need to interrupt in setting up his equipment, yet everything was ready for when he arrived. I can assure you any questions you have about what Jamie will be doing at your event (however silly of a question as I did have some) he will answer and meet your requirements. If you do decide to hire Jamie then I am sure you will receive the same excellent service in the preparations and on the day as we did. I have already given Jamie's number to family and friends and we would defiantly hire him again. Thank you again Jamie for helping us making our day special.
There are many points during your wedding where music can play an important part in helping to make your day all the more special and memorable. Let Jamie perform for you and your guests on your wedding day.
Ceremony
