The Jazz Gents have been playing together for 7 years and have played innumerable gigs around the country and abroad. Outstanding musicians in their own right, when they come together they truly shine.

Not only do they draw music from the jazz era (Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald et al), they also bring several modern classics into the mix (Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Soft Cell, AC/DC) to keep your ears tickled and your feet tapping.
The Jazz Gents are punctual, professional and pleasant to do business with. They also genuinely love what they do.
The Jazz Gents can perform as a trio, quartet or as a quintet.
The Jazz Gents have a confident and effortless stage presence and are lead by Brian Acton, ".. a frontman who could sell snow to Eskimos".
Brian has, over the years, had the privilege of sharing a stage with an incredible array of artists including Duran Duran, Ian Dury, Jools Holland and Rolf Harris!
Atholl, on sax and flute, has played with many great artists including Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson.
Bruce Reid, on double bass, has played with Bad Manners and Jools Holland and is a composer and band leader in his own right.
Drummer, Rob Turner, has played with some of the countries finest jazz artists including Mike Walker and Neil Yates.

The reserve pianist is Nick whom the Gents often draft in for bigger performances.
As a trio the band can perform either without drums or without sax.

- The Jazz Gents have a powerful, but not intimidating PA system and lights.
- Music is played through the PA between sets, and a DJ is available for end of night action!
- The Gents always dress to impress.
- Learning a special song for your occasion is never a problem.
- 2 x 1 hr sets are standard.
- The Jazz Gents can split it, if required into 3 x 40 min sets.
- Extra sets are available at a negotiable charge.
- There is an extra charge for the DJ.
- A popular option is background music with a duo during a drinks reception/dinner followed by the full band later in the evening.
