His work has illustrated national magazines, TV reviews in newspapers, book covers, and advertising campaigns on TV and in print. A national advertising campaign featuring his work runs across the USA throughout 2013.

What a fantastic thing to walk away with at the end of our wedding day. It is so nice to have a high quality, yet fun drawing on our wall which really captures our mood. Jonathan picked out the small details and our guests were highly entertained watching the drawing unfold. We would highly recommend Jonathan if you want to have something different and unique at your wedding to wow your guests.
As well as at weddings, Jonathan has also drawn live caricatures at salon openings, summer parties, birthday parties, and trade fairs.
In 2012 he drew at an event attended by The Queen and Prince Philip, though they didn't sit for him! He particularly enjoys drawing at weddings.
- Jonathan the Caricaturist works seated, from an easel in the room with chairs for those being drawn.
- Drawings are A4 and in ink, with an A3 drawing of the Bride and Groom or the event's VIP.
- Good lighting is essential, as he needs to see who he's drawing! So drawing during the disco isn't ideal (for him or your guests). If you're considering drawing in the same room as a disco please arrange a standard lamp from the venue for him to use, in order to maintain the disco vibe and let Granny boogie.
- He takes short breaks during particularly busy times, though this does not affect working time.
- Please note that any working time beyond the original booking will increase the expected fee.
Generally bookings are for two hours, though it's recommended to allow for popularity and consider three hours. This is particularly recommended if the event is larger.
Jonathan is happy to draw for as long as you require, but takes a very short break during longer stints.
