THE EVENT
Up to 9 professional musicians - Outstanding high quality musical entertainment (comprising of 2 x 45 min, 3 x 40 min or 2 x 1 hour live sets with party / background music provided on CD during each break) - Full PA and Lights.
SOUND AND LIGHT
Jump Start use a powerful yet compact and unobtrusive PA system, which has been checked to meet all British Standards. The band also carries their own lighting system to complete the ultimate party experience. In addition, Jump Start can hire in at extra cost more equipment for larger engagements.
PRESENTATION
Jump Start will always be presented in accordance to your Wedding reception, University Ball or Private Party and are happy to meet any requirements i.e., smart, smart casual or just plain cool!
JAZZ DUO / TRIO
In addition to the fantastic Party band Jump Start, the band is also able to offer a Jazz Duo or Trio option for those quieter or more relaxed moments. The group is fronted by Holly, one of the finest voices on the London jazz scene today. A natural musician with a pure honeyed tone, her delivery has been described as “stylish and pure-voiced”. She epitomises the cool, laid-back sound of cocktail jazz. With her effortless swing and instinctive phrasing, Holly’s repertoire extends from a rich wealth of jazz “standards” and Latin numbers, which have provided the inspiration for all the great jazz singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan to the new wave of contemporary performers such as Diana Krall and Stacey Kent. Elegant, sophisticated, swinging, with just a hint of Latin spice, Jump Start Jazz Duo/ Trio can provide the ideal musical background for the cocktail hour.
At request Jump Start Jazz can recreate Jazz classics or interpret modern pop hits into smooth jazz.
