Liverlounge take the very best in contemporary music and strip it down to it's bare bones in glorious acoustica. If you've ever wanted to hear your favourite tunes uniquely arranged and performed in Jazz, Latin, Soul, Blues, or Funky Fashion then look no further! With an extensive repertoire spanning fifty years of classics Liverlounge are sure their show will appeal to all venues and people of all ages.
Liverlounge's principal aim is to take all manner of contemporary music from the 1960s to present day and arrange tastefully and uniquely in an otherwise unfamiliar style!
Kayleigh is an experienced writer and session vocalist. Having worked in the music industry for the last ten years her highlights include several performances for Clubland Records with whom she has released several singles, (including video shoots and performances in Los Angeles, Majorca and Germany), and a variety of existing writing and performance / vocalist roles with Jazz funk outfits "Down to Us" and "Ginger Tunes Quartet" based in Liverpool. Kayleigh is no stranger to the stage having performed consistently in front of several thousand people for Clubland Records and on a frequent basis throughout Liverpool and the Northwest in a variety of function bands. Kayleigh has an unmistakeable, verstaile and unforgettable voice.....
Philip has played piano and keyboards since the age of five and is a versataile accompaniment to Kayleigh's wonderful voice. As a song writer and fully qualified musician he brings his unique blend of jazz and Latin piano to the table, making contemporary music sound intriguingly different. Philip has worked actively throughout the Northwest with a variety of function bands and in a solo capacity as a Jazz pianist. His recent highlights included performing to 3000 people at the Matthew Street Festival with the Liverpool Motown Orchestra.
Liverlounge take pride in their contemporary stylish arrangements of Pop, Rock, Jazz, Soul, Motown, Indie and all manner of musical classics. Stripping down popular music to the bare bones can often give it a fresh, yet exposed feel. This allows Liverlounge to demonstrate their musical abilities whilst keeping people enchanted and entertained. As accomplished musicians their primary aim is to provide truly live entertainment, with no backing tracks.
Liverlounge do realise that larger and livelier venues may want the “full band experience,” so they can provide a pre-rehearsed backing track show on request.
Liverlounge's repertoire is wide ranging and all encompassing and can be tailored to a booking request, if sufficient notice is given.
