Founded at one of the top UK music conservatoires, The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester Strings specialise in the provision of high quality live music for weddings, functions, galas, christenings, product launches, corporate events and more in the North West.

The four members are all highly trained, professional musicians. They have a wealth of experience performing in venues all over Europe including The Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Munich Cathedral, Edinburgh Castle, Versaille Palace and for clients such the National Trust, Harvey Nichols, HRH The King of Romania and MP Lord Maclennan.

The quartet offer a professional service, tailored to suit your needs with a wide variety of repertoire including classical, light, jazz, pop, bollywood and traditional. A personalised music arranging service is also available if you would like your favourite piece to be played.

A trio or violin duo are available at a reduced price. The quartet are happy to discuss all aspects of your event with you before hand and answer any questions you may have.

We engaged Manchester Strings to play at a National Trust donor event at Lyme Park this autumn. From an event coordinators perspective I would like to highlight how easy and accommodating the quartet were to deal with before the event. They were keen to understand the purpose of the evening and interpreted our requirements very well on the night. The quartet played with real character and our guests commented throughout the evening on how much they enjoyed the music and that it really enhanced their experience of the setting. We will definitely be using them for future events at National Trust properties.

Equipment and Set Up
Manchester Strings provide their own instruments, stands and music. Their instruments do not require electricity. The only requirement is good lighting, 1 armless chair for each musician, good lighting and adequate space for the players and stands.
