Melody in The Domain

'Melody in the Domain' present their unique take on well known songs from the Fifties to the Noughties. Honey-sweet vocals expertly accompanied by guitar and acoustic bass create a relaxed street corner bossa-nova atmosphere.

Melody in the Domain's repertoire consists of over 35 songs by artists such as Joanna Newsome, Feist, Elvis, Nina Simone, Eurythmics, Mamas & Papas, Bill Withers, Kylie Minogue, Leadbelly, The Beatles, Peggy Lee, John Martyn, Etta James, Billie Holiday, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse, The Police and many more. 

Vocalist Sarah comes from a Theatre Dramatics background and is involved in promoting visual art and music gigs in East London, as well as creating her own brand of delicate folk-pop. David has played session guitar for Corinne Bailey Rae, Martina Topley-Bird and now works with BBC ‘Rising Star' Julia Biel & folk artist Jack Cheshire. Bassist Neil has studied both Classical & Jazz music to degree level and has sessioned with many great contemporary Jazz artists in Europe.

Performing either as a duo or trio, 'Melody in the Domain' provide their own battery powered high-fidelity ‘AER Compact mobile’ PA.
