1940s / 50s singer and entertainer performing songs from Wartime right through to 50s Swing and Rock n Roll with some Swing / Big Band and Jazz tunes mixed in along the way!

1940′s / 50s Tribute Singer Miss Marie is a young, talented, self contained vocalist bringing the music of the 40s and 50s to life. Miss Marie has wowed audiences throughout the UK with her powerful vocals, bubbly personality, old style glamour and unique stage presence. Influenced by Connie Francis, Dame Vera Lynn, Doris Day, Rosemary Clooney, The Andrew Sisters and other glamorous artistes from the 40s and 50s.

Miss Marie is a talent not to be missed. Her effortless style oozes 40s and 50s glamour and chic, ranging from 40s elegance and sophistication to fun 50s swing and rock n roll! Miss Marie will make any occasion special, from clubs, parties, weddings, to WW2 dances! Your friends, family, guest or clients are sure to be impressed and entertained.

Miss Marie is available for many occasions including Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Charity events, private functions and any other reason you have to put on a special event!

Miss Marie will take you on a musical journey from Wartime right through to rock n roll whilst mixing in a few swing, big band, jazz and showtune classics along the way.

Miss Marie is available to entertain at any special occasion, club, party or restaurants, and will usually perform a 2 x 30 minute set of 40s and 50s style music. Miss Marie can tailor each performance to meet the clients requirements, and can perform special requests and extended sets where required.

If you are considering holding a themed event, and that event is 40,s or 50′s based, look no further than Miss Marie, on VE day 8th May 2010, Ladybridge Park Resident Club Cheadle Hulme, held a themed celebration evening at which Miss Marie headlined, a 40′s quiz and food of the era was served, but the star of the show was Miss Marie, who royally entertained us for two hours, we are lucky enough to have some World War two veterans as residents, who made a point of how much they had enjoyed the performance, and that it reminded them so much of performances from the era, and from one so young, no small achievement. We are inviting Miss Marie back to our Club later in the year.

Where will you travel to? Miss Marie can travel throughout the UK and will usually only charge an additional cost if it is a weekday or if overnight accommodation is requiried.

How much space do you need? Miss Marie is fully self contained with her own state of the art PA system. Miss Marie has performed throughout the UK in varying venues such as peoples houses or large halls! Miss Marie can cater to your specific requirements.

How long will it take you to set up and sound check? Miss Marie causes minimal fuss and will usually set up and sound check in around 15 minutes

Do you have 1940s / 50s costumes to wear on stage? Miss Marie has a range of stage wear from 1940s civilian dresses to 50s swing dresses and will wear what is most suitable for the venue and occasion. Requests can be taken in advance if a particular form of dress is required.

Can you take requests? Miss Marie will always try to meet the clients specific needs and requirements wherever possible. Requests need to be advised at time of booking.

What are your costs ? Miss Marie is local to the North West, but will travel throughout the UK. Additional charges will apply if there is excess mileage and overnight accommodation costs incurred. Costs are usually per 1hour or 1 1/2 hours sets.
