The Kit....
On Fire have the PA to handle events with up to 300 guests and can hire in PA to handle any sized event. For larger events we use a professional sound engineer. All of the PA equipment is very high quality including Mackie speakers and Allen & Heath mixing desk(s).

Fantastic! We hired On Fire for my son's 18th birthday party. The guys set up in a very small outdoor marquee with no problems at all, and I was impressed with their professional attitude and friendly manner. Once the party started I couldn't believe my ears! I had heard the band's demo, but live they were absolutely brilliant! My son and his friends had a brilliant time, and the band even invited him up on stage to sing a song with them. 'On Fire' were a great price and went the extra mile on everything - learning two tracks specifically for the wedding that were personal to my bride and me. I simply can't impress enough how good and professional these boys are- there are a raft of bands out there who all seem to want a fortune for weddings and half the time play recycled lift music or worse.

On Fire were recently chosen to perform for:

What is a typical set?
For a typical performance, we would normally perform roughly 2 hours of live music during the evening, usually finishing up by Midnight latest. Typically, this would be 2 sets of roughly an hour each set, with a break between sets, or 3x 40 minute sets with 2 breaks. We can however, create any set times to suit your function., and can supply background mp3 music from earlier in the evening through our PA system. Our quotes are based on a 6pm arrival, 7.30-8pm start and a 12 midnight finish. (late finishes are available at an extra charge)
 
Will you handle the background music?
We will provide mp3 playlists for before the gig and during our breaks. Clients are invited to create their own playlists on their own ipods/iphones/laptops that we can plug directly into our sound system. Alternatively, we would provide ready made playlists for background music. 

How many band members are there?
We are a four piece band - vocals/guitar, drums and vocals, guitar and vocals and bass.
 
How is the play list decided?
We use our experience to create a playlist that we know will get the crowd moving. We keep a close eye on the dancefloor during the evening, and make adjustments based on the crowd feeling. We usually finish our show with a rocking last set to really get the crowd enjoying themselves.
 
Can we use your equipment to make speeches?
Yes, you can use our equipment to make your speeches etc so long as we have prior notice to get things set-up for you. (there may be an extra charge for early arrivals)
 
Do you charge extra lighting equipment?
No - we use 2x KAM parbar lighting units & LED par cans to light the band, 2 KAM beat sensitive units to light the dancefloor, and usually a smoke machine (subject to venue permission) all included in the price.
 
How long do you need to set up?
Set-up and soundcheck usually takes an hour. We prefer to set up before guests arrive, as long as it doesn't require us to be waiting to play for too long (which may incur additional charges)
 
Will you set up before my guests arrive?
For parties and weddings we would usually set up 60 mins before the performance. At a typical show, we might start set-up at 6.00pm, provide background music from 7-7.30pm to 8pm, and start the show at 8pm. We can set-up earlier or later as requested in your enquiries. (additional charges may apply)
 
How much space do you need?
We have performed in all sorts of strange spaces in the past, but ideally we might have a space of 3m X 3m (although this is not a requirement). If you are hiring us for an outdoor show, we would need some kind of covering/marquee to protect the equipment from rain.
 
What sort of electrical supply do you need?
2 mains sockets.
 
What will you wear?
You can chose from smart (black uniform) or casual clothing.

Can I see the band in action before I book?
Yes. We regularly play showcase gigs in pubs around the South London, Surrey area specifically for that reason. You can find information about these gigs by enquiring.

The band are versatile in their performances.

You can choose from 2 x 45 minute sets, 3 x 40 minute sets or 2 x 60 minute sets at no extra charges. They also offer a 30 minute acoustic set (extra charge) that can be implemented into your function. This can be a nice option for some soft backing music over canapés!

The acoustic set consists of 2 guitars, vocals and backing vocals (2 piece).

On Fire constantly update their song list, to keep it current, and to add diversity to an already impressive repertoire. The band will have a good shot at learning your specific first dance request (extra charge may apply), and as long as it is playable, it is played!

And Then There's The DJ Service.....
As standard, On Fire will play MP3 music 30mins prior to the show and between each set (during the band breaks). Their extended DJ service consists of an extra hour of MP3 music (usually after the show) for those late night shenanigans!
