Your Event
The Picassos deliver the highest standard musicianship, boasting unsurpassed experience of live performance, every one a talented musician in their own right, producing a full and authentic sound.  The band's dynamic female lead singer is backed by three exceptionally skilled musicians on guitar, bass and drums who also provide lead and backing vocals. Great music, great entertainment.

The band can provide party & background music to be played before, in between and after their live sets on MP3 player/ipod or CD for no extra charge. This will be played through the band's PA system, plus the use of the band's dance floor lighting for your party - saving you the hassle of booking a DJ!  While this is not a 'manned' service with requests etc. you are welcome to bring your own CDs and MP3 players with you.

If the band's final set finishes before 12 midnight (E.G. 11-11.30pm), music can be provided up to 12 midnight (or 1am if you have booked for a 1am finish time, extra fee applies).

The Picassos are also happy to learn a special first dance for no extra charge, providing they have at least 4 weeks' notice.

The Band's Music
The Picassos's show consists of 2 x 1 hour (or 3 x 40 minute) sets from a wide range of popular rock, indie & pop music - from 1950s rock 'n' roll to 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s & 2000s inlcuding artists such as Beatles, Kings of Leon, Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Elbow, The Killers, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Snow Patrol, Rihanna and many more! The Band's Equipment
The Picassos use a 2600 watt full range PA system to cater for audiences of up to 800 people, which provides you with a full and balanced sound.  This equipment is suitable for ALL audience sizes, from under 100 guests up to a large venue with 800. The band also provide a complete professional lighting display consisting of 8 x LED Par 64 cans with built-in sound-to-light controllers, 3 x Prolight LED Colour Burst Up Lighters & 1 x LED flower to light the band and dance floor.

The Picassos will dress in smart casual for most occasions, always well presented and stylish at the same time! For corporate and black tie events they will dress more formally.

The Picassos are all members of the Musician's Union and have Public Liability Insurance for £10 Million.

I don't usually write testimonials but I was so impressed by The Picassos, who played at our wedding last month, I felt that I should share our wonderful experience. We were a bit nervous about booking a band for our wedding that we'd never seen live before, but I can assure you that The Picassos are amazing and the booking process via Warble was very straightforward! Despite all the great reviews, The Picassos completely exceeded our expectations and we were blown away on the night. Not only do they sound incredible (Hannah has the most amazing, adaptable voice), look fantastic, have a brilliant repertoire covering everything from the Rolling Stones to Lady Gaga, they also have an indescribable energy about them which is totally infectious. Hannah was so helpful on the phone beforehand which completely filled us with confidence as she was extremely professional yet very friendly and flexible too. We danced all night long as the great tunes just kept coming and coming and I can't believe the floor was filled all night. All our guests have said how amazing they were and people are still talking about them 6 weeks later. They absolutely made our night and it was a pleasure to have them be part of our wedding!! Q: Can we request a certain song to be played for the first dance at our wedding?
A: Yes. If you would like The Picassos to play your chosen song, they are more than happy to do this, given reasonable notice for rehearsal.  Alternatively, the band are happy to play a CD supplied by yourselves for the first dance.

Q: How long do the band play for?
A: The Picassos provide approximately 2 hours of live music.  This is ideally spread over two 1 hour sets, but timing is flexible on the night of the performance.  If the client wishes The Picassos to play for a longer period, a fee can be agreed on for the extra time.

Q: What technical information do we need to know before the band arrives?
A: The Picassos require 13 amp power supply preferably with two or more plug sockets, but they can work with one socket.  All the band's equipment is PAT tested.

Q: What does the band provide for a wedding / function?
A: The band is a self contained unit - they provide the professional 2600 watt PA equipment, full lighting display and a CD player/ipod (if required they provide party music before, in between sets and afterwards at no extra charge, which means you do not need to pay for a DJ).

Q: What type of music do The Picassos play?
A: Rock, Pop, indie & Disco music from present day charts back to the 1950s. 

Q: How much room do The Picassos need to set-up?
A: If you are providing a platform stage, the minimum space required is: 4m wide X 3m deep (13ft X 11ft).  However if you have only floor space The Picassos can fit into most areas.
