The Popsmiths are one of the finest acts in the UK fresh, funky and fabulous!!! Where cool meets quality, these guys are a cut above the rest! They specialise in modern chart hits, a refreshing change from the same old cheesey songs. Their contemporary party set, includes music from Rhianna, Lady Ga Ga, Kings Of Leon, Jessie J, Adele, Michael Jackson and many more. With sensational vocals and energetic performances these guys are guaranteed to impress you and your guests.

The Popsmiths band members are all full time experienced professional musicians. They have recently worked with artists including Robbie Williams & Cee Lo Green and have performed all over the world at many prestigious parties and glittering occasions.They have been lucky enough to entertain in places including Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Tahiti, USA, South America, the Middle East, all over Europe and of course the UK. Members have played on Top of The Pops, appeared in final 50 of Pop Idol, been in West End shows including Grease, Blood Brothers & Spring Awakening. They have played at major corporate events for clients including Toyota, Tesco, Porsche, Formula 1, Welsh and English Rugby Union. Played at V festival, Glastonbury, O2 arena, Millennium Stadium. They have played at celebrity weddings and functions and have even played for Royalty...... Prince Charles at Windsor Castle!!

The Popsmiths are a 4 piece band consisting of a sensational Female Lead Vocalist, Guitar / Male Vocal, Bass and Drums

The Popsmiths also offer a 5 piece option: What is better than one sensational female vocalist? TWO!! Another beautiful female vocalist joins the The Popsmiths party, making the fabulous four a fantastic five piece. The girls have a real chemistry on stage and will wow the crowd with their cool choreographed routines and heavenly harmonies. This is a great option for bigger budgets and large events.

How experienced is the band?
All band members are full time professional musicians. They have years of experience in the industry, and have performed all over the world at many prestigious occasions. Members have played on TV, in the West End, at arenas & stadiums, huge festivals, celebrity weddings and major corporate events. They have worked with artists including Robbie Williams, Cee Lo Green, Mischa Paris, Bonnie Tyler, Anthony Costa....... and Rhydian!!! ;)

Will you play some older songs too as we’re worried the “older crowd” may not enjoy the modern set?
Rest assured, people of ALL ages will love The Popsmiths. We have selected our set VERY carefully and we are constantly refining it! Though the set contains only modern songs, they are MODERN CLASSICS! The tracks we perform have appeared on family shows such as X factor and Dancing on Ice, they are on adverts and are constantly played on the "Wireless". We bet our bottom dollar that there isn’t one song in our set that your Gran hasn’t tapped her foot to recenty! We’ve seen older chicks chuck their walking sticks to dance to Sex On Fire....... it just works!

Can you play recorded/background music between sets?
Yes, we can play recorded/background music through our PA system before we play and during the interval. We have music of all styles including swing, soul, rock n roll and disco etc or you can provide your own if you prefer... just pop a playlist on your iPod!!

How much space do you need?
Ideally we need a minimum space of 5m wide x 4m deep but we have been known to squeeze into smaller areas when absolutely necessary.

How far do you travel?
We travel both nationally and internationally to play at events.

Usually 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 40 minutes. However, please ask if The Popsmiths can offer bespoke timings for your event.
The Popsmiths also provide music of your choice in between sets via their state of the art PA system, so no need for a DJ.
