Probably the most amazing thing about this lady, is how she can cover any style of music: Jazz, Latin, Blues, Soul, Reggae, Calypso, Gospel, Rock, Pop, Asian, Arabic, Jewish, House, Techno, Drum & Bass.... with such comfort and ease and then take it to the next level!
It's not hard to see why the audience gather forward to see and listen to her! Whether it's her raw and powerful improvisations on the Tenor, her voice likened tones on the Alto or the Angelic sounding sweetness of her Flute, she will "Blow Your Mind!" Sandra's television appearances have included Top of the Pops, Terry Wogan and Blue Peter. She was also the resident soloist on Channel 5's Club Class!
Sandra has performed with Soul 2 Soul and number one Soul artists Cloud 9, at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. She also headlined at five Music and Arts Festivals: the East Barnet Music Festival 2008, 2009 and 2011; the Hitchin, Herts Festival (Rhythms of The World) July 2008, July 2010 and 2011; the Luton Summer Festival in 2008 and 2009; the Baldock Festival 2009 and 2010; the Letchworth Music Festival 2009 and ABER JAZZ Pembrokeshire Jazz & Blues FESTIVAL in Wales in 2009. Sandra is a dynamic act: When she performs she really BLOWS YOUR MIND!
Sandra has also performed with DJ's at night clubs such as Heaven (Charring Cross), Fire (Vauxhall) and the Supper Club (Nottinghill Gate), as well as performing at Casinos such as The Barracuda (Baker Street, London), The Colony Club (Hertford Street, London), Maxim’s (Palace Gate, Kensington, London), Crockfords (Mayfair, London) and The Casino at The Empire (Leicester Square, London). Sandra performs in Churches, Jewish events, Indian ceremonies; in jazz venues such as The Old Barge in Folly, Hertford, The Peahen in St Albans, The Mill Hill Jazz Club, and has recently performed at events in Istanbul and casablanca.
No journey is too far, no performance too long. As long as you have the budget, your requirements will be catered for.
Sandra plays the Tenor Saxophone, the Alto Saxophone and the Flute to backing tracks. With a Keyboard player, or with a Quartet Jazz band, which ever suits your budget. However if you prefer to book a DJ, she can also perform over DJ music, giving your event a touch of class.
If you require more than instrumentals, Sandra can add vocals to her repertoire. She can adapt her music to suit your preference
Standard performance time is 2 x 45 minutes, but this can be augmented or shortened if so desired.
