Spies Like Us is 2 girls and 4 guys. A fun loving band playing songs from Queen, Michael Jackson, Bee Gees, Scissor Sisters, Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Black Eyed Peas, Mika, Abba and many more. Available either as a party band, using costumes with a Spy Movies theme – Austin Powers, James Bond – or using more conventional stage wear. For several years Spies Like Us have been playing at corporate and private functions, clubs and festivals - with audiences from just hundreds to many thousands all over the UK and abroad.
*With a host of excellent testimonials to their name they are a six piece 100% live band that really entertains*
Spies Like Us is 2 girls and 4 guys, who give the band both male and female lead singers, plus up to five backing singers. The band is 100% LIVE!
Costumes worn are from the Austin Powers and James Bond movies. However, the band can use more conventional stagewear on request.
All of the guys and gals in the band have been playing in working bands for many years. Dave (‘Fat B*stard/ Charlie’) has been playing in bands since the ‘60s, and appeared on Granada TV with his band in 1968. He also taught the younger ones all he knows - which took about 10 minutes!
Lynn (‘Harmony’) has been playing the bass since she was 9 years old and appeared on National TV in New Faces, along with her brother Dave (‘Austin’) in the same band. Dave was also an original member of the boyband ‘Our Kid’ who had a number 2 hit in 1976 with ‘You Just Might See Me Cry’. Also, both Lynn and Dave have been in bands with Ian McNabb (Icicle Works) and Chris Sharrock (now Robbie Williams' drummer).
Matt (‘James Bond’) was the drummer in the resident band at Liverpool's Cavern Club for 6 years and has played percussion in War of the Worlds with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. He has also played in bands for Michelle Gayle and Rose Royce, as well as supporting acts such as the Average White Band, Wishbone Ash and Atomic Kitten.
Pete (‘Dr Evil’) has been playing keyboards since he was 7 and has a BTEC in Performing Arts. He played in the Abba Mania theatre show at venues such as the Liverpool Empire and Manchester Opera House.
Hayley ("Melody") has been one of the lead singers in the Abba Mania theatre show at venues such as the Liverpool Empire and Manchester Opera House.

M.C. Molson, Coors Brewery, Coors Brewery Christmas Party
I would like to say a huge Thank you to the band for making our Christmas party such a success, this was my first time arranging a Christmas Party for all the Brewery employee's and having a live band as professional as Spies Like Us made the experience very special for us all, everyone really enjoyed the entertainment, the Venue was buzzing, and it will be remembered for many months to come. I highly recommend Spies Like Us, and look forward to them coming to our next party.
Peter and Suzanne Booth
Hi Tracey, Many thanks for your email and for all of your help advising on and booking the band. The event went extremely well and “Spies Like Us” were excellent: There was great feedback from all of the guests about them and they really made a great party atmosphere which everyone enjoyed enormously. We were also very impressed with the support and service you provided us. We had tried several agencies for help and advice and yours stood out a country mile from the rest in terms of helpfulness, responsiveness and overall professionalism. Thank you. We hope we will have the opportunity to work with you again before our 50ths!

Spies Like Us are a perfect band for your James Bond party or 007 themed event. The theme songs from the James Bond movies are magnificent and memorable, and great to set the mood when played throughout dinner. But, they don't provide an ideal choice for a band to play if you are looking for a dancing/ party atmosphere later.
Spies Like Us broad approach - covering James Bond, Austin Powers, Mission Impossible and Charlie's Angels - fits in perfectly. To make your James Bond event go with a bang - book Spies Like Us.
The group is fully self-contained and requires only standard power points. The group also provide a light show, which can include smoke (specially fire alarm compatible!) - All optional to suit the venue and the audience.
In addition, Spies Like Us members carry full Public Liability Insurance from the Musician's Union and all electrical equipment is PAT certified.
