The String Ceilidh Band have over 150 years experience between them (they all started at a very young age).
As a band they have been together since 2007. Individually, the band members have worked all over the world, singing and playing for concerts and ceilidhs. Radio, TV, Films.
Martin, the caller, is one of the funniest around using his humour to put the audience and dancers at their ease. Never would he attempt to humiliate anyone but to laugh with them (there is always a Mr. Bean or Homer Simpson at a ceilidh which makes his job much easier).
The String Ceilidh Band, with their astonishing array of instruments, have a full and exciting sound, driving the dancers on.
The emphasis is very much on ENTERTAINMENT.

The band did everything they could to perform under difficult circumstances! (They had just set up on a patio under a strong gazebo) but the early evening storm was just too much! They then played accoustically in the conservatory and this worked really well - people even danced in there! There were many compliments. Could I take this opportunity to thank Warble and Samantha for a very efficient and friendly service. This is the first time we have booked a music act for a party and you guided us brilliantly - we have learnt a few lessons about what we would do differently but we would use Warble again. Thanks to the band and to you.

The String Ceilidh band managed very effectively to get everyone up and dancing, falling about laughing, or both. They also suggested an easy but fantastic first dance that worked really well. We had hoped that having a Ceilidh band would be something novel and that people would have a lot of fun having a go at something they had never tried and that it would be an "ice breaker" at the start of the dancing. They carried out this role perfectly and it worked like a charm. Their mixture of silly jokes, banter and trying to get a collection of people mostly with two left feet into a semblance of an organised group was hilarious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Kate Smith - Dunmow Young Farmers, Private Party Event, Essex
The String Ceilidh Band fitted in perfectly with the evening and were fantastic entertainment, very willing no matter what and how frequent the requests were!

Hello Tracey, Thanks for your good wishes, we found String Cilidh Band to be very good indeed, ideal for our wedding party. On finding out that half the guests were from the Irish Republic they quickly produced an “Irish” theme for the evening much to everyones delight. They arrived on time, behaved and presented themselves in a very satisfactory manner and fitted into our schedule very well. I would book them again for a similar function. The whole booking arrangement was a credit to Warble's efficient operation. Many thanks.

Hi Tracey, I hope you are well. I know that I probably should have got this to you earlier, but the weeks have just flown by. The String Ceilidh Band were great and created the right atmosphere for our party. I know it may seem early, but knowing how popular good Irish bands are around St Patrick’s day, we would like to book the band for next year. With next year being a leap year, St Patricks day falls on a Saturday, therefore we plan to hold our party the Thursday before which is the 15th March 2012. Can you please let me know if they are available.
Carly Clifft (Tomorrow Communications Ltd.), Corporate Event, London
Hi Martin, Just wanted to drop you and email to say thank you to you and the band for your performance last night. The music was great and gave the night a real party atmosphere. Just what we needed to get everyone in the paddy's day mood. Thanks again.
Julie Barber, Wedding, Norwich
Hi Tracey, Thank you for your e-mail message. I am delighted to let you have my feedback on both Warble and the String Ceiidh Band. Warble were brilliant from the minute we made the first enquiry. You answered all of the questions we had with speed and efficiency and were so much more helpful than the other agents we contacted. The booking process was very straight forward and we were thoroughly pleased with the outcome. String Ceilidh Band were just brilliant, so enthusiastic! So many people after our wedding commented that they had really enjoyed the dancing and music - it was a great way for all ages and abilities to get up and dance (or at least attempt too)! I would not hesitate in recommending them. Many thanks for all of your assistance.

Hi Tracey, The music and dances were excellent and the band members very pleasant, punctual and understanding when our time schedule went a bit astray.
Melissa Kelly-Taylor, Wedding, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Hi there Tracy, I apologise in the delay getting back to you, I just wanted the opportunity to say thankyou to the band, they were fabulous! I always dreamed of my wedding day with a wonderful 5-piece Irish band, and they truly made my dreams come true! The band were very helpful, listened to everything I asked for and did what was asked of them and more. Many of my guests had heard Irish music before and not liked it, but upon hearing String Ceilidh Band have changed their views and said how wonderfully entertaining, lively and fun the music that the band played was. They also played some beautiful songs that are very sentimental to myself and family, which was just lovely. many thanks to you Warble for finding String Ceilidh Band , I will definatly use you again and will recomend you to many partys, functions or family get togethers. Again thankyou String you made my wedding day perfect!
