Susannah provides her own PA and performs with good quality backing tracks. Susannah is a professionally trained classical and electric violinist based in the Buckinghamshire / Middlesex area, also working in London, UK and abroad.
Susannah specialises in providing vibrant contemporary background music for weddings, corporate events and private functions performing a fantastic variety of modern pop and traditional classical / jazz repertoire.
Susannah uses high quality backing tracks for both classical and electric violin performances, which makes an excellent alternative to a string quartet.
With a wealth of over 15 years performing experience Susannah`s expertise, professionalism and dedication will help create the perfect ambience for your event.
Susannah is available for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, galas, product launches and private parties.
Biography: She was one of the youngest pupils attaining a scholarship to the prestigious Chethams School of Music at the age of 7. She then went on to study with acclaimed violinist and chamber musician Krysia Osostowicz at the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama in London. Since 1997 she has worked as a performer, private violin teacher and chamber musician in London but also has a wealth of performing experience in the fields of TV, radio, session, and orchestral, playing in venues such as the QEH, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Bridgewater Hall, amongst others. Susannah now dedicates most of her time performing as a classical and electric violinist in the UK, managing the South East String Quartet.
Solo Violin - Classical or Electric with or without backing tracks (backing tracks recommended). Ceremony songs need to be discussed for suitability and processional songs will be played unaccompanied without backing tracks on solo violin. Songs marked with an asterix are suitable choices or if you have something else in mind, please let Susannah know.
For larger audiences Susannah can also provide a PA system for up to guest numbers of 400. This is also useful for outdoor events where a little more amplification would be required.
Cover is essential for outdoor events with safe access to a mains supply.

Repertoire: Susannah can perform virtually any piece of music you wish. If you cannot find what you are looking for on the list, please ask for details. Often there would be minimal extra charge to acquire and perform new music.
Entrance songs for ceremonies (songs marked with an asterix *) are always played without backing track accompaniment on solo violin where only a single melody line will be heard. There is a limited choice for entrance songs and always need to be discussed for suitability.
