Since his earliest days as a professional magician he has concentrated on proving to adults that magic is not just for childrens birthday parties.
When working close-up, Barry performs miracles just inches away from the audience using an item borrowed from a spectator or with something that has been freely examined before and after the trick.
For stage and cabaret presentations there is a baffling array of mind-read and predictions and even a unique version of Russian Roulette where the audience is in complete control.
For something really different, book the 'Secret Museum' show. This is a presentation for small groups of people in a darkened room - not for the faint hearted or under 18's!
While living in London, Barry passed the entrance examination for the world famous ‘Magic Circle’. He also joined the ‘Grand Order Of Wizardry’ and was elected as Secretary for the club. Barry was the only person to win all three annual trophies presented by the club simultaneously (Stage Magic, Close-Up Magic and Promotion of Magical Arts).
Barry is a member of Equity, carries £10,000,000 of Punlic Liability Insurance and has a CRB checked certifiacte for your total peace of mind.
Since Barry’s earliest days as a professional magician, he has concentrated on proving to adults that magic is not just for children’s birthday parties. Barry believes that too many television performances are dismissed by audiences as being camera and electronic trickery and paid stooges, which is often the correct explanation. All these explanations are useless however when Barry performs miracles just inches away from the audience using an item borrowed from a spectator or with something that has been freely examined before and after the trick.
The stage and cabaret shows feature a wide range of seemingly impossible predictions and demonstrations of mind-reading most of which is performed in a light-hearted manner. These shows may include a unique version of Russian Roulette where the audience is in total control, if conditions permit.
For those who like the really unusual thing in life, there is the 'Secret Museum' show. This is a collection of ancient, strange and disturbing artefacts that seem to possess powers that defy all known laws of nature. The show is performed in a darkened room to groups of up to 30 people but can be repeated several times for different groups with the artefacts varying for each group so nobody gets to see exactly the same thing as everybody else. The complete show lasts about 50 minutes and the shorter version for repeated shows lasts about 20 minutes. Please note that due to the nature of the artefacts and the presentations used, this show cannot be performed for anybody under 18 years of age.

Whilst working in a ‘secret’ magic studio, Barry met many well known magicians including Paul Daniels, Geoffrey Durham and Tommy Cooper and even had the honour of teaching Tommy to do a trick. Needless to say, Tommy never quite got it right! During this time Barry also assisted top professional magician Terry Seabrooke in making a very popular tuition video for other magicians.
Mr & Mrs North, Southend
Thank you for making our wedding reception so much fun. Your opening trick involving both us will go down in history! Days after the wedding people are still talking to me about the tricks you did.
Peter Bennett - CEO, London Translations Limited
Thank you for your help at our recent Earls Court exhibition. I lost count of the number of times I overheard delegates and other exhibitors talking about the tricks they'd seen you do. Having you on our stand meant we had more than double the number of visitors we'd been expecting. You did a great job and I look forward to working with you again
Mr & Mrs G Rizzo, Owners, Sambuca Restaurant Westcliff
Our Customers are always asking when Barry will be coming back. They love him and we love the extra business he generates
Mr J Murphy, Owner, Arbuckles Restaurant, London
I put up the posters 3 weeks before Barry was due to perform here and within 3 days I was fully booked and turning away customers! While he was working, the atmosphere in the restaurant was electric and I could even hear the customers laughing over all the noise of the kitchen
Tony Etherton, Lodge Of True Friendship, Essex
Our Gentlemen’s evening normally finishes at 9:30pm but with Barry entertaining us we will still there at 11pm this year!
Iain Lauchlan, Belgrade Theatre, Coventry
I only wished we had met Barry earlier and could have incorporated more magic into our pantomime.
Barry has performed at many top London restaurants, bars and night clubs and also has the rare distinction of performing a card trick on the radio with Chris Tarrant on Capital Radio. Previous clients have included Brittany Ferries, Clinton Cards, London Translations, HQ Hospitality, Ozone Conferencing and many more.
During recent visits to Las Vegas he befriended many famous performers including Siegfried and Roy - who invited Barry backstage on every occasion, Mac King - the presenter of the television series ‘World’s Greatest Magic’, Rick Thomas – Illusionist, and Dixie Dooley – A Houdini Tribute Escapologist.
The Power Of Magic For Your Business...
Everybody will watch a magic trick. Some want to be baffled or entertained. Others just want to try and work out how it is done! You can win the hearts and minds of potential customers with magic tricks. You can clobber your competitors with magic tricks. You can grab a bigger market share and increase your profits with magic tricks.
Magic is a very powerful marketing tool - just ask the Sales Director of any American company. Barry can bring this power to your customers, staff and other businesses at exhibitions and presentations. In some cases, he can even design an original magic trick around your product! In the current economic climate, you need all the help you can get to gain an edge over your competitors so why not give magic a try?
At an exhibition, people who are interested in your company will stop at your stand anyway. People who like magic will stop to see a trick. People who don’t like magic will stop to try and catch Barry out. The bottom line is people WILL stop and once they have stopped, you can start selling!
