Guy Garvey (lead singer in Elbow)
Listening to Margit and Adrianne made the hairs on the back of my neck tingle. Beautiful music, performed by two outstanding and gorgeous musicians.
Barry and Christine Evans, Buxton
We didn’t realize two cellos could be so versatile. The sound you made was rich and moving. We were thrilled to have found you at the last minute; you are just that little bit more interesting than a bog-standard string quartet!
Ros Buncombe, Islington, London
Very polite and graceful.
Ken and Kelly Smith, Wilmslow, Cheshire
Dear Ladies, Just wanted to thank you once again for making our special day really sparkle. We really appreciated your help in choosing the perfect classical music for our ceremony and the jazz/pop for our reception. We received so many complements on how stunning and professional you both were, as well as how beautiful the music was. We, ourselves, were ever so grateful that you were one element of our chaotic wedding day that we did not have to worry about. We will be sure to recommend you to anyone who is looking for a unique and sophisticated touch to a special occasion.
All we require are two arm-less chairs, protection from the elements (we don't mind the sun and rain, but our cellos do!) and a glass of water.
We are very experienced in playing appropriate music at an event, but are happy to have a brief chat about particular tastes beforehand. We arrange a lot of our own music, so playing a special request is no problem but must be agreed at least three weeks in advance. For more obscure or rare requests there may be an arrangement fee.
Please be aware that as well as travel costs, an accommodation fee may apply for late performances or venues far away from the North West of England.
- For weddings the format is usually: playing as guests arrive, during the ceremony, and approximately for half an hour at the drinks reception.
- At parties etc: 3 x 40 minute sets with breaks.
Please Note: The fees indicated below are approximate and based on a central location for each county. They are intended to provide a rough guide only and exact quotes can only be given once the date and exact location of your event have been provided.
