Just wanted to thank you for a great night’s entertainment last night at the Farmhouse. We all thoroughly enjoyed the gig and look forward to seeing you again soon! Keep rocking….NB: CD has come out really good, too!
Pat Marsh, BBC Radio Kent
Thanks again for a fantastic performance on Saturday - our boss was tuned in, and made a point of saying how good you and the guys were, so I've suggested we use you again for our stand at the Kent County Show later this year. He said it was a good idea and would keep you in mind. I will do my best to get along to your CD launch, but if I can't make it.........Have a fantastic night!!!!!!!!!
Barbara & Les
Just to say a bit thank you for helping my 50th Birthday party to go with a 'Swing'! Everyone has said how much they enjoyed your music - and most people got up at some point and had a dance. Will certainly keep you in mind for any other 'land-mark' celebrations in the future, and we hope you get some future bookings out of it.
Matt and Clare
Both Clare and I wanted to thank you all so very much for a great performance at our wedding on the 20th December! It was exactly what we wanted and without any doubt made the day perfect and one to remember! Everyone I have spoken to since has said "what a brilliant band!" So, thank you guys for topping off a fantastic day, (with particular reference to our opening song, I'm just sorry my dancing didn't do your music justice!) I know we will be seeing you again in the near future at one of your gigs!
Mary
Just a line to say thanks a million for your contribution to the Hop Festival this year. As before, you went down a storm and your show was soooo professional that people are talking about it in the street! A cracking set and sharp presentation, too. Again, many thanks for helping make the festival really work.
Vickie & Dom
To all the guys. We would just like to say a massive thank you for making our wedding so special. All of our guests remarked on how great you were. We hope to come and see one of your gigs soon.
David and Rebecca
We just wanted to thank The Bumps for playing at our wedding last month and helping make it such a fantastic night. After seeing you play at the Brewery Bar in Whitstable we knew you guys were the perfect band for our wedding. When you play together you create a really fun atmosphere which had almost everybody dancing at some point or other in the evening. Thank you for waiting for my mum to come back before you started with our first dance. I think we might be coming down to Faversham for the Hop festival next Sunday and if we do we'll make sure to come and see you at one of your gigs. So thanks again to all the band for putting on such a great set for us and for just generally being fab.
Innis
I am sorry that it has taken me a little while to write to thank you all for such an excellent performance at my party. Everyone who has spoken to me about the party was complimentary about your band and you exceeded all my hopes of the dance floor being filled! I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone, and am just trying to talk my husband into another party so that I can ask you to play again!

- How long do The Bumps play for?
Typically, The Bumps play two 45 minute sets with a 15 minute break in between. The Bumps are extremely flexible and if an event requires music for irregular time periods this is of course possible with prior arrangement.
- Are The Bumps able to play outside?
Yes, as long as they're adequately protected from the elements (including sunshine) and that it is safe to do so e.g. power sources are protected etc.
- Do The Bumps just play Swing music? Can they play any other styles?
Although Swing is what The Bumps are known for, they do also know a lot of the classic pop, soul and funk songs and are always happy to play them in their set if required.
- What will The Bumps wear?
Smart-casual, Suits or Dinner Jacket's at your discretion.
- Are The Bumps able to learn any songs that are not listed in their Song List for my wedding / function / party?
The Bumps are willing to learn a special song providing that they have enough time in which to do so - their hectic gigging schedule means that they do have limited rehearsal time. If The Bumps are unable to learn a requested song in time for your function then they are happy to play a CD of it through their sound system.
2 x 60 minute sets with small break in between.
Pre-recorded music during interval(s) through the PA can be also arranged at no extra cost.
Please Note: The fees indicated below are approximate and based on a central location for each county. They are intended to provide a rough guide only and exact quotes can only be given once the date and exact location of your event have been provided.
