"The Committed" was formed in 2005 and has been going from strength to strength ever since. Each year the band nearly double the amount of shows from the previous year and that is for 1 very good reason, THEY ARE THE BEST AT WHAT THEY DO!
The band aim to be as authentic to the original sound and feel as possible and this is made easier by Neal not only looking the part af Andrew strong back in the day, but sounding just like him too!
The Committed are often invited to Ireland (the home of the Commitments) to perform, as they are known as THE most authentic Commitments Tribute band available. Lead singer Neal is often mistaken for Andrew Strong and at times, has to be quite convincing that he is NOT actaully him! For the second year running, the band has been invited to perform at the Cork Jazz Festival and they have also performed for St Patrick's Day and New Years Eve in the Emerald Isle, as well as many wedding receptions where the bride & groom want only the best for their reception.
