Jay & Bec, Wedding, Llanelli
Hi Steve, We just wanted to send you guys a quick email to state how amazing you were when you played at our wedding in Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli on Aug 20th. I cannot believe that you guys are not famous the world over, you should be. As the groom I had very little to do with the planning and "the band" was the main thing I had to pick on my own and there was a lot of pressure on me to get it right, well around 180 pairs of eyes watching me just before you started actually. I can honestly say you guys nailed it for me and it soon turned in to 180 pairs of feet dancing. Thanks for also learning our first dance Pencil Full of Lead, how you mangaed to learn it and perform it the way you did I will never know. I suppose the two things that show how awesome you were was that every single person danced and the staff at the hotel told us they have never seen the hall so full of people dancing ever. The second is that loads of friends and family have asked for your name and contact details to book you for further events. We can honestly not express how happy we were with you and am so chuffed that we picked you to play on the most important day of our lives. I bought a new pair of shoes for the day and danced so much that the sole has actually begun to peel away, (they weren't cheap shoes I just danced my married ass off). Also Tracey at Warble Entertainment is a credit to yourself. I must have emailed and phoned her about 10 times and each time she replied and put me at ease. She did everything I asked and was perfect in the job she did. In case you hadn't guessed by know we really really enjoyed the whole process from the first phone call to the very last song and I will be happy to sing your praises to anyone. Please pass on my thanks to Louise and Lisa as their voices are amazing. Also to the rest of the band for playing just perfect music which was perfect to the crowd all night long. Also whoever picked the songs for the Dj was amazing too!?! Thank You Thank You Thank You!
Sophie Harwood, Wedding, Devon
Hi Tracey, The Easy were fantastic. Perfect choice for our wedding, they put 110% into the performance and had everyone dancing all night. They also kindly played our first dance which was a lovely surprise as I had expected the original to be played. I found the booking process straight forward and you have been very efficient ar responding to any queries. Thanks for your help.
Ciaran Ryder, Duchy College, Cornwall
Can I pass on thanks from students and staff alike who really enjoyed both your sets last night. The evening was a great success and you guys played a huge part in that. I know this is jumping ahead but can I provisionally book you in for next year?!
Joseph Yaacoub, SM Entertainment
The feedback was very good and everybody was happy especially the F & B manager and this is a very good point. They told me that the singer was great also as well as all the band
Richard & Suzanne, Newly Weds, Bristol
Sorry for the delay in sending this note... but just a quick email to say thanks to you and your band for such a fantastic performance at our wedding. As you can probably guess from the people on the dance floor, everyone loved your band... had loads of comments and wouldn't be surprised if you get a few bookings as a result!
Leo & Julie, Newly Weds, Bristol
A big, big thank you for being so amazing. Everyone said how good you were and enjoyed the music. A special thank you for learning the first dance for us, it was performed brilliantly and meant so much to us; it was one of the most emotional moments of the day.
Lisa Gover, Bride, Keynsham
Once again thank you so much for making it a great evening. I have been recommending you to everyone!
Louise Mayor, Birthday Party, Devon
Just emailing to say thank you for very much for Saturday night. Everyone has been saying what a great time they had and how fantastic the band was – and you absolutely achieved my aim of just getting everyone dancing!
The Easy are a young, fresh-faced yet experienced band of highly talented musicians who have performed with artists as diverse as Pato Banton (singer of 'Baby Come Back') to Ace (Guitarist for Skunk Anansie). The lead singers Louise & Lisa have a great deal of experience in a variety of acts including fronting a 30 piece big band at the ICC in Birmingham and a performance at the Seaton Jazz Festival along with numerous shows around the UK, whilst the band have been fortunate enough to work with musicians from Feeder, Little Angels and Wishbone Ash, recording with those from The Wailers, The Rumble Strips, Ronan Keating, Darius and Chesney Hawkes.
Gigging extensively throughout England, Scotland and Wales, the musicians have also toured Abu Dhabi, Denmark, Czech Republic, Greece, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Holland and Italy and are currently organising performances in Croatia, Dubai and the French Alps, making them as comfortable in the air as on the road! Festival performances at Glastonbury, Ashton Court, Music In The Sun and Cork Jazz have firmed up the bands abilities to cope under pressure, in most part due to the regularly poor British weather!
The musicianship of The Easy has assured their success, with Louise working alongside Head (producer with Massive Attack, PJ Harvey) to produce an album under contract with NAIM Records. Lisa has worked with a number of DJs and has recently had her vocals featured on Bounce Mania 2009, compiled and mixed by KB Project.
Playing gigs at venues as diverse as Stratford Circus, The Celtic Manor, Bristol Old Vic, The Bath Pavilion, The Colston Hall, Exeter Great Hall and many top London venues including The Borderline, The Garage, The MeanFiddler and Jazz Cafe has meant the band are well versed at performing to sell out crowds on large stages. They no longer get star struck (well... maybe Lisa does a little bit!) having been supported in the early days by Muse and having since supported well known names like Republica, Bad Manners and The Selector and even Cleopatra (Comin' Atcha!). Steve has also played in the backing band for Pato Banton.
The band have had albums released nationally through high-street shops and also had works on sale in Japan,Denmark, France and the US. Many of these have been played on radio stations across the country and Rob (keys) has also supported one of his releases with a live performance at a Radio 1 Roadshow, played out to over 6 million listeners.
The latest high for the band was having Rob (keys) have his music played on the hit US TV sitcom, Flash Forward.
When you book The Easy you not only get a group of young yet highly seasoned professionals but the guarantee of a high-energy performance that will blow your socks off! What more could you want?!
