Tracey, Good morning I hope that you are well. I am just writing regarding The Hype who played at our wedding on 13th August 2011. We intended to get in touch sooner but it has been a busy few weeks. We just wanted to say how pleased we were with the band on the day. They were everything that we wanted and more and they really did a great job of getting everybody up on the dancefloor. The acoustic set that the lead singer played during the wedding breakfast was also incredible and a number of guests commented on how nice that was to listen to in the background. In general though a lot of our guests told us how much they liked the band. They were also very polite and really gave the impression that they wanted to be there. The only complaint I have is that too many women guests came up to me and said how much they fancied all of the band!! A few even said that they thought that they had met their future husbands!!! Hi Matt, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Just want to say how fantastic the band were. Everybody that was there that night commented on how great they were and they were a friendly bunch of guys to deal with. We had to delay the set for a 10pm start because of our situation of being above a bistro but they were happy to do so and played a straight 2hr set with only a small 5min break inbetween! Hi Matt, Thanks for this, sorry for the delay in responding, what with the honeymoon and traveling back to Dubai there has been a lot going on since the wedding, including me needing an operation on my back! Not the best way to start married life, but I seem to be making a quick recovery so it is not too bad. Anyway, what can I say? The Hype were completely amazing and everybody had a fantastic time. I am still getting comments from people who were blown away by the band. The choice of band and the style of music was a very important decision for us as we knew how important it would be to make the evening a memorable and enjoyable time for both us and our guests. We also knew that there would be a good few musos among our guests who would be particularly interested in our choice of band. I have to say that your recommendation of The Hype was spot on and the guys themselves were incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating and of course they sounded amazing with a perfectly pitched set list. They even allowed me to get up on stage and do a song myself and they were very encouraging and supportive about it too! I think the biggest compliment given to the band, however, would be that my father-in-law hardly ever left the dance floor all night and the sight of him dancing to "I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor" was certainly one of the highlights of the day for my wife and me! The only few hitches were concerning some of the venue staff and how they dealt with the band. We were told by the venue, when booking the band, that they could not set up and sound check after a certain time, so we asked the band to do an early start which they did at no extra cost. It turned out that when they got there early, they couldn't gain access to the venue at the time we had arranged. They were not shown the room that we had arranged for them and were, understandably, concerned that there would not be any food or drinks supplied for them as this wasn't explained to them by whoever greeted them when they got arrived. It is a shame because it was very important to us that the band were looked after and happy and I had doubled and triple checked with the venue that they would have their own room and a hot meal and unlimited soft drinks, but this information was not passed on to them by the venue until I arrived much later after the wedding itself. They did get access to the room and the meal and drinks, but I would like to apologise to the band if they felt at all neglected, it certainly went against our intentions and we were very upset with some of the venue staff when we found out about this. Of course, the band were very gracious and good about the access problems, but it must have been annoying for them and if the venue had given us the correct information then there wouldn't have been a problem. But I suppose these things happen and it is a credit to the band that they handled these initial problems with good humour and a professional attitude. Thanks again for recommending the band and for sorting out all the details on our behalf. It was quite a challenge for us to arrange our wedding from overseas but you really helped take the stress out of it and were very helpful. We are so glad we found Warble! All the best and please pass on our best wishes to The Hype.

Hi all – a year ago tomorrow “The Hype” played our Wedding/Birthday/Halloween party at Bradley House in Wiltshire. It has taken me ages to get round to leaving a comment, but feel that they deserve one. They were extremely accommodating and created a set list that suited the type of sound we were hoping for. They even learned a song by a band my wife and I like that not everyone will be familiar with, New Model Army. They were extremely lively and enthusiastic and sounded great. They created a wonderful atmosphere. If you are after the type of songs they offer, I would recommend this band to anyone. We would definitely consider them again if occasion called for a live band. Just looking for an excuse. Thank you for helping to make our celebration party day such a success.

The version of 'Truly, madly, deeply' they put together for us was superb and if they did have a recording of it we would love to have a version. We ran very late on the day and they were very professional, setting up as quickly as possible and providing as much music as possible in the time remaining.  So many guests commented about how good they were, the dance floor remained full for the whole evening, a real testament given they started at 10pm. The Hype absolutely set our wedding alight with their music, a brilliant mix of classic Wedding Rock (Mustang Sally) through to modern Indy Classics like Sex on Fire. The three guys were patient and polite waiting for our caterers to clear out and were worth the wait. Every single guest who could move (and some who couldn't) got on the dancefloor and the band were universally praised by our guests including several 'cool' teenagers. Highly highly recommended. Hi Matt, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, we have only just got back from our honeymoon! Just wanted to to say a HUGE thanks for helping us to find The Hype to play at our wedding! They were outstanding! My main worry in all of the wedding planning was that the dance floor would be empty and that the evening reception would be a bit of a disappointment. There was no chance of that though, and I'm sure that it was all down to the band. They had such amazing energy, were so friendly and completly professional. They didn't mind when I (the bride) and some friends stormed the stage to take over the mic for a number of songs! Fortunately I think they were quick enough to mute our mic, and left Rob to do the singing, but they happily left us to hold the mic regardless! One of the top memories of the night was when bride and groom took to the mic to sing the whole of 'Sex on Fire', we will always remember that! All of our guests were asking where we found them and who they were, everyone was very impressed. Nobody wanted the night to end and the guys were really patient with us and did respond to the endless shouts for MORE! All of the staff at the venue commented that they had never seen such a lively evening do! If anyone wants to be sure the dancefloor is packed all night I would HIGHLY recommend The Hype. Thanks so much to the guys, they were champions!

Morning Matt. What can I say? The guys were FANTASTIC! Honestly, we had so many people come up to us to ask where we found them. The boys were polite, courteous, discreet when setting up, and really really nice guys. They played phenomenally well, we were absolutely blown away, they sounded incredible and I’ve never seen our friends and family hit the dancefloor with such gusto – the guys got the place rocking and had exactly the right balance of music at the right time. The Hype have performed for numerous Weddings, Parties (including anniversaries, birthdays, engagements and more) and Corporate Events all over the UK and even into Europe... See their 'References' to see just how well received The Hype have been.

In addition, members of The Hype have worked in high profile backing bands (such as Jennifer Hudson), performed in numerous TV Shows' 'house bands' (including X Factor) and performed as session musicians.

Because The Hype realise that every Wedding and event is different they are happy to build a bespoke package just for you. This has proven extremely popular with many couples and could include:

* Earlier Set-Up - to avoid disturbing the ambience if everything is taking place in the same room.

* Late Finish - whilst most venues are licensed until midnight, The Hype realise that some are fine to continue the celebrations until 1am or 2am.

* First Dance - wherever possible, The Hype will learn your first dance song providing enough prior notice is given and the song is within the style of the band. If this is not possible The Hype would be happy to play your first dance via their PA / DJ equipment.

* DJ service - to help minimise costs The Hype are able to provide a DJ option (with PA and lighting) to ensure that when they aren't performing the party will carry on! This means that requests can be taken from the song choices that the guys will have available.

* Additional Sets - The Hype are happy to perform for 2 x 60 minutes, 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes as standard. However, they may extend this and add extra sets or longer lengths, i.e. 2 x 70 minute sets, where required

Please Note: As standard, and at no extra fee,  The Hype will  provide party music before, in between and after their performances.

As standard The Hype perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets.

In addition, The Hype are able to offer a 1 x 45 minute Acoustic Option, which is perfect for during Drinks Receptions or Wedding Breakfasts.

Because The Hype want you to have the whole night's entertainment sorted when you hire them, the band offers a FREE DJ option that runs when the band are not performing.

The DJ option is performed by a member of the group operating a laptop with the most current DJ mixing software and party classics on hand to keep the party jumping! The benefits of this service are that your guests are able to make requests for the DJ to play, and with the DJ being a member of the band and sharing their equipment, the space utilised at the venue is kept to a minimum... and so looks very tidy.

Please Note: The fees indicated below are approximate and based on a central location for each county. They are intended to provide a rough guide only and exact quotes can only be given once the date and exact location of your event have been provided.
