Magazine, Channel 4, The Big Brother wedding as well as performing for The Killers at their album launch party for ‘Day and Age’.

Damian Keyes (bass and lead vocals)
Damo’s last job was training pop and rock stars as the founder of The Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Past students include The Kooks, Rooster, The Ordinary Boys, Newton Faulkner, Hundred Reasons, and Kate Walsh. As a performer he has played with Alanis Morrisette, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, and even Rod Hull!

Luke Spurrell (Guitar and lead vocals)
Luke has played every musicians dream gig… Wembley Stadium amongst many other packed out stadium performances up and down the country. Luke was a part of the World record for the most amount of guitar pedals ever used in one sound.

Thom Heron (drums)
Thom is the power behind the live sound of The indie Killers, drawing experience from performances with the late great Gary Moore who as a personal friend was a massive influence both personally and musically.

Hi Damo, What a fantastic night!!! The hangover is now starting to fade, but the memories live on! The 'Paperback Writer' demo is rocking! The harmonies have come out really well, and it's Jacob's first taste of the Beatles - I just told him that they're like a slightly less rocky Oasis! Any more demos / albums / clips etc would be very gratefully received! Finally - the DVD of 'Songbird' has been copied, and if you send me your address I can pop it in the post - it's come out really really well, and was played to Jacob's class today - stardom! Dear Tracey, Sorry for taking so long to reply. The Indie Killers were simply amazing. For anyone reading this, deliberating on what to do or who to book, if you don't choose the Indie Killers to entertain your guests for any event you have planned, you are truly missing out on a great night all round. The Indie Killers played at the evening reception of our wedding (Moxhull Hall, Sutton Coldfield) on 28 August 2011. They absolutely blew us away. They were spectacular. I love them and I am already hassling Chris as to what function we can organise to book them again. I know our Best Man took their details to pass on to his sister for her wedding and I believe that the manager of our venue was very impressed also. He was very apprehensive about allowing unfamiliar bands to play at his venue, but he loved them as much as we did. The Indie Killers played our first song, which we only gave a week or so to rehearse (if could buy this version I would, it was stunning), and they absolutely perfected it. They had the dance floor full all night. Everyone has commented at how brilliant they were. They were extremely professional but very laid back at the same time, set up in good time, contacted us in good time, and our guests loved them. I believe they even allowed one guest to sing with them and a few of us (I am very embarrassed to mention) had formed our own group using their equipment, but they didn't mind at all! They engaged with all guests and I can't stop going on about them. Thank you so much, our reception entertainment meant a lot to us and we had the best night and we have no doubt it was down to the Indie Killers. We wish you all the best for the future and hope to be in touch in the very near future.

That however is completely outclassed by the personal service provided when you speak directly to the Warble staff, Tracey Bullock in particular in my case. Hi, The Indie Killers played during our wedding reception on 20th August 2011, they were without doubt absolutely amazing. Soooo many complements have been passed on by our guests. Hi Matt, Sorry for the delay in my response. Where can I start other to say a huge thank you for being the perfect ending to our wedding day. You guys were quite superb and we couldn’t stop talking about you on our honeymoon. My neck stopped hurting about a week later, I haven’t head banged like that since I was 18! All of the guys were friendly and Damo instantly put my nerves to rest on meeting him. I knew that the night would go off with a bang even when I had only heard the sound check. Damo got so many our of song choices into the set list which I thank him for as it was quite literally a soundtrack of our lives. You’d never think that modern pop songs like Dynamite, Poker face, Firework and Love Machine could complement songs like Basket Case, Chelsea Dagger, Are you gonna be my girl and Dancefloor. Luke confessed that playing Muse’s Plug in Baby was one of the hardest things he’s ever had to play and just how they mixed Smells Like Teen Spirit into Billy Jean and back again I’ve never know but they did and it sounded great. The boys finished on Champagne Supernova which I haven’t listened to for over 10 years but it was a perfect ending to what had been a full blown assault on my senses. What came as a surprise was the level of interaction with the crowd with the boys making many trips into the pit. Lizzie, an 11 year old had a great time playing bass with Damo and Luke even made one foray into the next room to play! I felt for Thom as he can’t do that so I joined him by his kit and he gave me a stick to help finish the song off with a crashing cymbal! They really made everyone feel part of the gig and we’ve never seen that before. The only way these guys can be bettered is if you book the actual bands to play their own songs. Even our caterers emailed us to say how great they were saying they get to hear a lot of bands and none reached the level they did. I just need a good excuse to be able to book the guys again. Hi Indie Killers, I’m hoping you remember me from last Wednesday at Bickleigh Castle (James & Helen’s wedding) – I’m Jacob’s dad, (& James’ brother), Anthony, hopefully memorable due to the black eye, and also because I escorted you round the place and showed you the different sections of the castle where you were due to play. It must be the first time that you’ve stood on a balcony overlooking the whole church and had a bird’s eye view of the happy couple as you acoustically accompanied them down the aisle! Personally, though, I was dead impressed not just by your musical abilities, but by the fact that you were just such great guys! You managed to make an amazing impression on my whole family – on me because the music was just exceptional, on my wife Maria who was over the moon that you serenaded her with ‘Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)’ on the lawn, and most of all with Jacob who hasn’t stopped talking about the Indie Killers since we got back. He was already (at 6 years old) a big fan of indie music (especially the Fratellis, The View, & Little Man Tate), but he’s been in his element in the last week. The plectrums that you gave him have taken pride of place in his memory box, and he’s now seriously deciding whether he’d rather be an astronaut or a rock guitarist!!! He’s also made me create him a CD of all of the best Killers tracks, and is approaching word-perfect on Mr Brightside, Spaceman and Bones! He’s also been watching your video clips on the Internet, and is without a doubt a fan forever. One little quote – we asked him what was the best part of the wedding and he replied “Daddy – the Indie Killers – it wasn’t just the best part of the wedding, though, it was the best thing EVER!” Need I say more? Anyway, just a massive thank you for not just playing some great tunes, but for involving Jacob in such a unique way that he’ll never forget. I’ve attached a few photos that we took on the day. Everyone is buzzing still!! ‘Chasing cars’ for our first dance was simply perfect, better than any version I could have found on a CD, and dancing in the centre circle for the last song ‘sweet child of mine’ was a spectacular end to the night. It was a amazing day to remember, topped off with the night that will not be forgotten by us or any of our guests, and we feel lucky and privelidged to be able to say that you guys were at our wedding . I’m already trying to think of another reason to book you................our babies christening perhaps once its born??? Ha ha, I think our tiny 12 week embryo was probably even bouncing around to the tunes and will be a future fan!! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you, we will definately be following you guys. Matt, The band were amazing!!! Not sure whatever I type will do them justice. From the first song to the last (including the brilliant encores) they had the wedding party up and throwing shapes with wild abandon (including an impressive number of lunges!). Their judging of the mood, interaction with the audience (love the playing in the middle of the dancefloor and on the tables and chairs) and sheer ability to play was very impressive. We loved them and are trying to come up with excuses for events so we can book them again! A testament to them has to be that pretty much every person I know has asked me where on earth I found them as if it's not possible to find such a brilliant band simply by getting lucky. Hi Tracey, We will be writing to the band personally as soon as our thank you cards are available as they were absolutely amazing. Similarly you have been excellent in responding to my queries on a timely basis. The band looked and sounded fantastic!  Despite the many highlights of our wedding the first one everyone has mentioned has been the band. I only returned to work after my honeymoon yesterday and 2 weeks on everyone is saying how great the band were. Several of my friends have looked them up on facebook since. The dance floor was busy throughout their sets and Martyn and I were particularly pleased with the Romeo and Juliet track that they learnt especially for us. Damo told us he learnt to play keyboard especially for the track and it was perfect. I loved they way they jumped off stage and played around the guests and up on the chairs - it really got the party rocking from the offset. Not only were they great on stage but lovely guys too. If anyone is into indie music and is looking for a lively band for their wedding I would recommend the Indie Killers without a doubt. Matt, Apologies for the delay... after absorbing myself in Hangar Party organisation in the weeks before our event I have had to spend the week or so since catching up on what they actually pay me for in my primary duty! The night was a resounding success and that is evident by the fact that 2 weeks has past and there is still a real buzz on Stn about it. The band was simply superb (which I was very relieved about having 'bigged' them up based on zero knowledge since May!!) A selection of comments follow: "My daughter now thinks she's been to a Summer Ball (notwithstanding the weather), and as a self-proclaimed live-band critic I thought that the band were first class", "Please book the band again for future Officers Mess functions, totally loved their energy and they kept the crowd dancing all night with a brilliant repertoire", "The band were such great performers encouraging the dance floor to be rammed all night, we walked in sober at 11pm and easily got caught up in the brilliant atmosphere", "The band was the best I've heard at any function and my girls loved the inflatable guitars!", "Where did you find such an excellent band... the busy dance-floor certainly provided proof of the (musical) pudding!!!", and "Two words - band, awesome"! The committee worked really hard up until and on the night and we were absolutely made up when the band played '21st Century Breakdown' which they had learned especially for us... although it seems such a small thing the effort that they put in to learn it in time really did make our night. They were an absolute delight to host and their interaction on the dance floor, rather than being stage bound, really added to the performance. They without doubt lived up to expectations and I would go as far as saying they bettered it and were key contributors to the event going down a storm. Dealings with yourselves were equally excellent and as the Officer in charge of the Entertainments team in the Officers Mess I am more than happy to add you to the 'regular use agency' recommendation on our file... generally we don't use agencies that we haven't tried and tested so this should attract some business your way (although sometimes we pull the mates rates cards on military bands and use them as an alternative). I was really impressed with how quickly my booking query and quote email was answered, and really appreciated the fact that even when we had the cheque payment issue you gave me no grief! We requested quotes from 5 sources for different bands and the price quoted and speedy response received is pretty much what sent the business your way. Hope the comments help. Many thanks for assisting in pulling off a great evening, military personnel really appreciate good nights like this to break up the routine of Operations - your support ws much appreciated. Look forward to doing business with you again.

If you are struggling to find a good band for your wedding- or any celebration - look no more. I can assure you that the INDIE KILLERS will make your party THE COOLEST event your guests will have been to for a long time. We have just had them play at our wedding and we were on the  dance floor, along with all the other guests, ALL NIGHT. Everyone keeps telling us how blown away they were by them and when they say it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, we are confident that most of that is down to the band. In all honesty, I was a bit worried that some of the 'older' guests might not really enjoy the band since the music is young, hip and contempory, but it was great to see even the oldies moshing to the likes 'Mr Brightside' - a moment we will remember forever. The best thing is that the band do not just 'play' the songs - they perform like true stars: jumping about, running up stairs, guitar dueling, getting jiggy with the crowd - it's  a real spectacle. You can tell that the band enjoy making people happy - and that's what you want to feel on a special occasion. On top of the quality of music and service, the guys are simply dead cool, professional and easy to work with which makes the organising of a big event less stressful. I never write testimonials - but honestly - book them now. P.S - they're really fit too.

We expected a lot of them as the previous reviews had been so good, but they suppassed even that. Our guests have not stopped talking about them. They had everyone up on the dance floor, half our guests joined the band and Luke playing Air guitar over some of the guests was fantastic - my maid of honour is still telling everyone who will listen she played guitar in a band on saturday!! I would not hesitate to use you again to book a band, preferably the Indie Killers as I cant imagine any other band living up to the standard of entertainment they provided Saturday for us. They were all such nice guys too. I didnt have a clue what order to do anything in, but Damian came over, told me not to worry and just took control of everything, organising the set times, music for dancing and even arranging the first dance when me and Mark were getting too merry to worry about it. They were brilliant and made our party truly unforgettable - I have already sent them messages on facebook to thank them and say that us and all our guests would def go see them if they ever play up this way again. A fantastic performance from the beginning to the end, the historic Nottingham Rowing Club music venue rocked on Saturday night with 110 people bouncing off the walls; if the building could talk it would have said "it's the sixties and seventies all over again!!!!" I could not have asked for a better experience for my wife's 40th and as memories go this was absolutely "priceless", my wife's stage dive was particularly memorable!! I hope the band enjoyed themselves and were pleased with how it went as all the attendees were singing their praises!!!! The mums school run this morning will have been a blast with all the tributes to the band tumbling in, the band's ears will have been on fire!!!

You weren’t wrong when you told me how good they were going to be. They were absolutely awesome. I have received so much positive feedback about the band from everyone who came. They really topped off what was a great party. And they seemed to enjoy it just as much as my guests. Hey Damian, we've just returned from honeymoon yesterday and still getting great raves about your performance at our wedding party at the Radisson in Durham a fortnight ago. You've all left your footprint on our wedding day and you personally on the hotels table cloths for that matter, for which we can't thank you enough (size 7 plimsoles I think). Thank you all also for hanging around later and speaking to the guests which really finished the night off.  Back to your perfomances and we really can't thank you all enough for everything. We had them for a party at our house on Saturday afternoon and they were absolutely brilliant. They completely read the audience and judged what to do when. We are in an era of musicians throwing together covers bands to make some money and then regurgitating the same old tired songs to people who feel that they should dance. The Indie Killers have come along and set a new bar, and it’s jaw dropingly high. What we have here, is a new era of covers bands and these guys are leading the way. Every Uni in the country should have this band come play their party.

As well as performing at a plethora of Weddings, Parties and University Events all over the UK, The Indie Killers also performed for The Killers new album launch where they were joined by members of Snow Patrol live on stage for a rendition of 'Mr Brightside'!

The Indie Killers have also performed for University events at Cambridge, Aberystwyth, Birmingham, Manchester Metropolitan University, Cumbria, Durham, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire... and many, many more...

In recent months, The Indie Killers have been featured on both SKY and the BBC as they have been regulalrly performing in Stadiums all over the UK to provide match day entertainment for a variety of prestigious sporting events.

How do The Indie Killers sound so huge with just 3 guys?
There are several reasons why The Indie Killers sound so big, the level of experience the band has is a major factor in the band sounding so tight. The gear used is not your average everyday sound-systems as they own a mega 2.6k PA rig and use hefty valve amps to make everything sound authentic. Also everyone sings which really beefs up all of the harmonies and the excitement factor. These are the main reasons why The Indie Killers sound so fantastic... but, the main reason is... they are really, really good!

How much room does the band need?
The Indie Killers don’t need acres of space, however, these guys have played the biggest venues in the country including Wembley Stadium, Reading festival and a packed out Hyde Park so the bigger the stage, the better the show. PLEASE REMEMBER... The Indie Killers are a very visual group of entertainers and perform to the best of their ability if they have adequate stage or space. These guys don’t stand still!

How long do The Indie Killers play for?
The Indie Killers offer either a 1 hour or a 2 x 1 hour set depending on which package is preferred for your event.

Do The Indie Killers provide their own sound and lighting?
The band has a hefty 2.6k PA rig which can be provided, however for larger venue’s it is recommended that you check with the venue to see if they have a fixed in house system capable of hosting a large rock n roll band. A lighting rig can also be provided.

Do The Indie Killers have any other requirements like a rider?
In order to perform at their best the band require soft drinks, and a selection of sandwiches or a hot meal for 4 people at least an hour before they are due to play on stage. The Indie Killers will also require plenty of bottled water. The band will also need a room to prepare for the performance and a parking space for the van.
