Throughout the performance The Songs Of Bond utilises her remarkable 3 octave vocal range to best effect and fully captures the original mood of each song, while adding her own personal warmth, fun and endless energy to each show.
Artists such as Shirley Bassey, Matt Monro, Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra and Tina Turner originally recorded the songs written by the likes of John Barry, Paul McCartney, Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley and The Songs Of Bond pays a special tribute to each of these legends during a breathtaking night with Bond.

During The Songs Of Bond's time as a professional performer, she has supported acts such as Ruby Turner, Des, O Conner and Cannon and Ball, As a teenager she appeared on BBC’s ‘Opportunity Knocks’ where her rendition of ‘Memory’ from Cats was described by the late Les Dawson as ‘Outstanding’. ‘The Stage’ also described The Songs Of Bond as ‘A gifted and versatile performer with a great future in the business’.
The Songs Of Bond’s vast experience since completing her training in performing Arts at The Birmingham Rep fifteen years ago includes various pantomimes, TV appearances in ‘Never Never’ and Brookside for Channel Four. She also spent three years in Dubai and toured The Middle East headlining with her own trio in the show ‘Here’s to the Ladies’- a salute to the great female singers from Peggy Lee and Julie London to Cher and Madonna. The Songs Of Bond has also featured as a guest cabaret artist throughout Europe for Thomson Holidays and on various Cruise Liners. On her return to England her cabaret show became a frequent attraction at Chaplin’s Night Club in London’s West-End.
More recently The Songs Of Bond has performed in theatres throughout the UK and Europe as a special guest in the hit show ‘Rat Pack Is Back!’ and it was while performing with the Rat Pack at a James Bond themed corporate event held at The Houses of Parliament, that The Songs Of Bond was asked to include some James Bond songs in her part of the show. Based on the success of that performance The Songs Of Bond devised her own tribute to the music of Bond and since then the show has gone from strength to strength, playing at Bond Events in Casinos and Hotels throughout Britain and recently in Germany.
The show is particularly a corporate event favourite, regularly appearing at events held in major venues such as The NEC and the Royal Festival Hall and for major companies such as The Royal Bank of Scotland and Virgin.
This unique show obviously covers far more Bond songs than any one particular tribute artist can include in a show and corporate bookers have found the format extremely appealing. Particularly when booking entertainment for highly popular James Bond themed nights. In the words of the MP John Barron after that first show in London, ‘The Songs Of Bond really does have a licence to Thrill!’
When working self contained The Songs Of Bond’s 2k PA can cover the capacity of over 200 people and her show includes Lighting, Flame and Sound Effects and Bond Backdrops. Her backing tracks are professional quality and were recorded with a fully live band. The Songs Of Bond can also be booked with her own fabulous live band (any size from a 4 piece to an 8 piece) under the direction of the legendary Don Hunt who has served for many years as Musical Director for the likes of Bruce Forsyth, Howard Keel and Sammy Davis Jnr. Alternatively The Songs Of Bond can work with a resident band by providing her own first class arrangements.
The Songs Of Bond can also work in larger rooms and either bring in a full technical crew and production team with Large James Bond Scenery, or work with a production company provided.
Stunning Dancers can also be booked to provide even more glamour to the event.
The Songs of Bond usually consists of a 45 – 60 minute cabaret set. However additional ‘Hollywood’ or ‘West End and Broadway’ themed sets are also available. A dance spot can also be provided if required.
