AMAZING!!! These guys made our evening wedding reception. They arrived in good time, were set up in good time and played exactly what they said they would and more. We booked The Story for our Wedding Day after hearing a track on the agency's website. We thought the lads sounded pretty good. After a brief chat on the phone and exchanging a few emails with the bands drummer we knew we were in good hands as nothing was too much trouble for them, they were happy to assist us wherever they could and sounded genuinely pleased to do so. The lads landed, set up in a blink of an eye and rocked the place. The music was ace, they sounded great and everybody and I mean everybody loved them!!! I honestly could not sing the praises of these lads highly enough. Our day overran as I'm guessing most weddings do, the lads stayed and played on well over the agreed time with out even batting an eyelid. Their choice in music and tracks to play is exactly what was needed for our day, everything from The Killers to The Beatles, The Kaiser Cheifs to the Black Eyed Peas. The lads even played "Happy Birthday" at midnight for my wife's brother who's birthday it was. There are many band out there that will cost you double maybe even triple what The Story would cost you but I guarantee would not be half as good as these guys. I cannot thank the boys enough for such a huge contribution to making our special day so great. Thank you so much fella's. Because The Story realise that every Wedding and event is different they are happy to build a bespoke package just for you. This has proven extremely popular with many couples and could include:

* Earlier Set-Up - to avoid disturbing the ambience if everything is taking place in the same room.

* Late Finish - whilst most venues are licensed until midnight, The Story realise that some are fine to continue the celebrations until 1am or 2am.

* First Dance - wherever possible, The Story will learn your first dance song providing enough prior notice is given and the song is within the style of the band. If this is not possible The Story would be happy to play your first dance via their PA / DJ equipment.

* DJ service - to help minimise costs The Story are able to provide a free DJ option to ensure that when they aren't performing the party will carry on! This means that requests can be taken from the classic song choices that the guys will have available.

* Additional Sets - The Story are happy to perform for 2 x 60 minutes, 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes.

As standard The Story perform 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute live sets.

Because The Story want you to have the whole night's entertainment sorted when you hire them, the band offers a FREE DJ option that runs when the band are not performing.

The DJ option is performed by a member of the group operating a laptop with the DJ mixing software and plenty of party classics on hand to keep the party jumping! The benefits of this service are that your guests are able to make requests for the DJ to play, and with the DJ being a member of the band and sharing their equipment, the space utilised at the venue is kept to a minimum... and looks very tidy.
