The Wedding & Events String Quartet was formed in 1997 by a group of professional musicians and has had great success across Central England performing for a wide selection of people and events, including: The Three Choirs Festival, pop concerts, weddings, parties, charity events, corporate functions and even royalty!

The Wedding & Events String Quartet was formed in 1997 by a group of professional musicians and has had great success across Central England performing for a wide selection of people and events, including the Three Choirs Festival, pop concerts, weddings, parties, charity events, corporate functions and even royalty!

One of the unrivalled strengths of the quartet is the shear breadth of their repertoire, ranging from Mozart to Les Miserable and Elgar to Elvis. They are always very willing to arrange any piece that a client may want to hear and indeed many of the more unusual pieces from their repertoire started life as a client’s request from maybe a favourite film or artist.

The Quartet has played at most of the popular wedding venues across the Midlands, both for civil ceremonies and for traditional wedding services. They can play a selection of your favourite music choices as your guests arrive, evoking a calm and thoughtful atmosphere before the arrival of the bride. During the ceremony or service itself they often play for the bride to enter, for the signing of the register and for the grand exit of the newly wedded couple. They can also provide the accompaniment for any hymns to be sung during a Church service.

After the ceremony The Wedding & Events String Quartet can provide musical entertainment for the drinks reception and photos and during the wedding breakfast itself.
