Despite only being in their late twenties, each member of the White Ties has notched up major big-gig experience:

Lincoln fronted a 70s tribute band on the London circuit, performing annually at the world-famous 24 Heures Le Mans racing championships. He has gigged alongside The Feeling, The Pigeon Detectives, I Am Kloot...

Chris must be the most over-qualified wedding guitarist in the North-West! He has performed tour support for McFly at Wembley Stadium and other major arenas, toured the UK with Rooster, gigged alongside Status Quo, Alice Cooper, Tenacious D, Echo & The Bunnymen...

Adam has been a highly regarded session drummer since his late teens. In between studio sessions he has deputised for former Take That drummer Steve Washington, played tour support for Pete Doherty (The Libertines), Inspiral Carpets, The Mock Turtles and Hope Of The States, to name but a few!

Adrian, Mickey, Paula & Stu are all highly-respected session musicians with a wealth of touring experience in the UK, Europe and America.

Hi Tracey, we have nothing but praise for The White Ties! They really made our Wedding Blessing Party a success, and all our guests have since commented how good the band were. Lincoln, who heads up the band, was fantastic; he contacted us in advance of the day and really paid attention to our music preferences and requests. The two sets he put together had songs in them that really meant something to us and got guests of all generations up and dancing! He then made sure that his playlists for the disco at the end of the night and when the band weren't playing included the rest of the songs we had requested. I asked Lincoln to put together a fun evening of music that would have something in it for everybody, and it did. The band had to drive over 4 hours to play at our party, but you would never know as they gave it their all. They are a really fun band and we would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Q: HOW MANY SETS DO THE WHITE TIES PLAY / HOW LONG DO THEY PERFORM FOR?
A: The band quotes gig fees based on a total of 90 minutes live music. This is normally split into 2 sets of 45 minutes, but also works well as 3 sets of 30 minutes. If you would like the band to perform for longer than 90 minutes, please mention this when asking for prices. But please also remember, The White Ties' main aim is to put the FUN back into live music so they will always play some encores free of charge!

Q: HOW DO THE WHITE TIES ACHIEVE THAT FULL, POLISHED SOUND WITH ONLY 3 BAND MEMBERS?
A: Firstly, the fact that each bandmember has many years of big-gig experience is a major factor in the band sounding so tight. Secondly, the music equipment used is top-notch, including fully-active PA speakers, tour-quality digital drumkit, studio-quality fx pedals, etc. Thirdly, The White Ties use in-ear monitoring alongside the latest multi-channel backingtrack technology, allowing them to enhance their live performance with additional pre-recorded instrumentation.  So, while the band performs Lead Vocals, Male Backing Vocals, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar and Drums live, the audience also hears female backing vocals, bass, keys, brass section, string section, percussion & synth parts, depending on what each song needs to sound its best!

Q: HOW DO THE WHITE TIES MANAGE TO KEEP UP SUCH A LIVELY, ENERGETIC SHOW?
A: Practice, practice, practice and water, water, water!

Q: OUR VENUE IS SMALL / LARGE, AND SO IS OUR BUDGET!  WILL THE WHITE TIES BE SUITABLE FOR OUR EVENT?
A: Yes!  The standard three-piece line-up will make full use of any size stage with their energetic live show, but The White Ties are now also available as a duo, four-piece band or five-piece band line-up.  No matter which option you prefer, you'll get the same great sound, the only major differences will be the visual impact and the minimum space required.

Q: THE WHITE TIES HAVE A LARGE REPERTOIRE, CAN I PICK ANY SONGS I LIKE FROM IT?
A: In theory, yes!  The band has a very busy gigging schedule and certain songs are chosen by clients far more frequently than others. Therefore to ensure a polished, professional performance of your favourite songs, The White Ties require clients to email their song requests at least one calendar month before the performance date.  One month's notice provides the band with enough opportunity to schedule rehearsals for running through your chosen repertoire.  If however you book The White Ties with less than one month's notice before the performance date, please just send your song preferences asap and the band will do everything they can to include as many of your favourites as possible!

Q: CAN THE WHITE TIES PERFORM A SONG THAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THEIR REPERTOIRE LIST?
A: The White Ties use only the highest-quality, custom-made multi-channel backingtracks to enhance their live show. There is only one company in Europe that produces these backingtracks, prices start from £50 per backing track and there is a 6 week waiting list. If the client is happy to cover the additional cost of having a backing track produced, and as long as the client gives at least 6 weeks notice, then the band will happily learn and perform the requested song without charging any extra for themselves.

Q: CAN THE WHITE TIES PROVIDE A DISCO / DJ SERVICE AS WELL AS PERFORMING LIVE?
A: Yes! The band now offers a laptop disco service as a free optional extra. If required, the band will prepare customised mp3 playlists based on your own personal tastes and preferences. Using professional DJ software, these cross-faded playlists will be played through The White Ties' fully-active PA system (far better quality than your average mobile disco) before, in between and after the band's live sets, providing non-stop music entertainment all night long!  In addition, the band will also provide classy, modern cluster-laser disco lighting for the dancefloor. (The White Ties always provide their own stage lighting as standard.) The band will fulfill most, but not all, the usual duties of a regular DJ. In other words, they will announce that your buffet is open, announce your first dance, take song requests from your guests, etc, but they WON'T keep muttering through a microphone over the top of your favourite songs all night... And most clients seem to prefer it this way!

Q: DO THE WHITE TIES HAVE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS / A RIDERS LIST?
A: The band have three requirements: A parking space for the van, a place to change into their stage clothes and plenty of drinking water!  To perform at their energetic best, the band would also appreciate food either before or during the event. (And if at the end of their live show you happen to offer them a pint to say thanks for a fantastic night's entertainment, they might not refuse!)

The White Ties perform 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 30 minutes as standard - plus encores of course!
