Mr and Mrs Birch, Wedding, Essex
We weren't sure on which band to go with for our wedding, but the WMD Trio provided such a wide range of material it catered for each and every persons needs. We didn't realise how important it would be having music but it turned out to be a major part of creating the right mood. Highly recommended.
The WMD Trio have had a large amount of experience playing for many weddings, parties, awards ceremonies and corporate events.
A few of these include:
- Birmingham University
- The West Midlands Motor Museum
- The University of London
The WMD Trio also have experience with COMS.
Our performance times are normally in blocks of 45 or 50 minute sets. Below are a few ideas of how you might like to structure your music around your event:
- Bronze: 2 sets of non-intrusive background jazz for a classy setting.
- Silver: 3 sets of background jazz; 2 sets before your meal and 1 set after, with a few more energetic numbers
- Gold: 4 sets of background jazz; 2 sets before, 1 set during and 1 set after your meal.
The above are suggestions, however we are able to accommodate any requests.
- Set up: We require a minimum of 15 minutes to set up and soundcheck, in a space 6ftx6ft or larger.
- Power: We require a local power supply
- Dress: We will always look smart - suit and tie or dinner jackets
- Requests: Of course!
- The WMD Trio generally perform sets of 45 or 50 minutes.
