*Highly Recommended and extremely professional Band*
Wraggle Taggle performs traditional Irish, Scottish, English and American songs and tunes with innovation, flair and vitality.
The group is made up of award winning musicians who have toured extensively and performed at a multitude of events, such as, weddings, corporate events, charity galas and festivals.
The bands most common ceilidh format consists of four musicians plus a caller who teaches the dances from ‘scratch’- no experience needed! A ceilidh is something really different and ideal for a successful party, as it is a fun way to get families, friends and colleagues to mix and meet and because all age groups become involved.
The faster dances are an energetic work out, but Wraggle Taggle is also able to play in a relaxed romantic mood.
Duo to Six piece: Amplified or Acoustic, with or without a Caller
Wraggle Taggle is sensitive to the occasion and responsive to the mood of the audience. If you wish they may concentrate on one particular style e.g. Scottish or Irish throughout. Further to this the band likes to work with each audience individually and do requests if known.

Hi Matt, Alexandra and Wraggle Taggle were both very talented and professional. They arrived in good time, set up well and played to an excellent standard. Alexandra was brilliant and patient / tolerant with the children asking questions, and approaching her in relation to the harp. My guests thoroughly enjoyed both the music and her professionalism with her audience. The same was said about the very integrative and talented Wraggle Taggle, who provided a warmly and inclusive musical two hours. They had everyone up dancing which was great and brought a piece of Ireland to Hornchurch! They were very very good and I'm delighted to have had the pleasure to have had such talent play at my daughter's First Holy Communion. Thank you very much. All the very best.
Yvonne and Alan Taylor, Wedding, Quenby Hall, Leicestershire
Just a short note to thank Wraggle Taggle for doing an excellent job at our recent wedding celebrations. The evening whizzed by so quickly - always a good sign! Having a ceilidh was the perfect choice as it includes all ages - even the youngsters thought it was heaps better than a disco! You created just the right atmosphere, so well done.
Jennifer Cole, 50th Anniversary, West Kidlington Primary School, Oxfordshire
We have had nothing but extremely positive and complimentary comments about the evening regarding yourselves, the food and the atmosphere created. A great success and thank you so much for helping make it so. In fact, so much of a success that I have been given the go-ahead to organise a Burns Supper Ceilidh on Friday 25 January 2008 with yourselves and the same caterer, who incidentally, loves haggis. I hope you are free on that evening to come and play for us again.
Sophie Cox, Head of Events & Corporate Development, Vitalise
Just a quick note to say a HUGE thank you for your invaluable contribution to the Legends of Sport Dinner in aid of Vitalise All the guests really enjoyed the evening and we are delighted to have netted around £15,000 from this event - all funds raised will go towards providing around 105 week-long breaks for disabled people at our five Vitalise centres. Everybody loved the music - and I've had a lot of feedback from guests saying that it really got the event off to a lively start! I will stay in touch about future events. Meanwhile on behalf of all the staff at Vitalise thank you again for your support.
Scott and Lisa Pearse, Wedding, The Broadway Hotel, Herts
May we thank you and your band for a wonderful evening. You provided the perfect start to the celebration of our marriage. My Irish relatives, friends and I have seen many ceilidh bands both in the UK and Ireland over the years and we can all honestly say Wraggle Taggle is the best we have ever seen. Mick, many people commented on your amazing vocal talent. Thank you especially for the 'Rose of Clare' your performance of it was mesmerising.
Anna and Mark Randall, Wedding, Ashurst Wood, Sussex
Thanks so much for playing at our wedding, it was great. Everyone really enjoyed it and we loved having something a bit 'different' at our wedding. We will definitely be recommending you!

For example: a duo could be guitar/ vocals plus banjo. An accordion player may also be brought in to enlarge the band and other instruments such as fiddle, flute, tin-whistle, double bass or snare drum can also be added. Speciality instruments such as Scottish or Irish bagpipes, bodhran (Irish drum) or traditional dancers are also available by arrangement (subject to availability and musical considerations). However, whichever line-up is chosen all members are punctual, smart and sober... but still good fun!
