Papa Groove formed early in 2004 and have built up a reputation as one of the best upbeat funk, soul and disco function bands in the UK. With the emphatic vocals of Charlotte Benson, and the highly acclaimed band and backing singers, the group have built up a repertoire of the best of funk, soul and disco classics and also play current chart hits from artists including Christina Aguilera, Scissor Sisters and Beyonce. The band can cater for all functions, from weddings to corporate events with a choice of a 5 - 9 piece band, including full brass section! Papa Groove is perfect for all your goodtime occasions!

The Coolers have performed all over Europe and continue to play regularly in some of the best venues across the north - and in particular the Manchester region where they are based. Whilst primarily a 5 piece, the band may also operate as a 4 piece (minus Saxophone) right up to 9 piece (add, Female Vocals, Bass, Saxophone and/ or Trumpet) for Corporate Events and large Weddings.
