About

Accolade have been gigging together for over 10 years and play gigs all over the country. They are known for playing songs that you would not associate with an acoustic duo and love to surprise and entertain. They pride ourselves on our ability to cover a broad range of songs and genres with harmonies and enjoyment! Accolade performances can last up to four hours (if not longer!)and they have many years of gigging experience in high profile venues including the O2 academies in Bristol and London. 

Although based in the Bath area, the duo have played gigs all over the country for private parties and corporate events. Having performed together for the past decade, Ben and Tim pride themselves in tailoring each performance to the event due to their vast (and ever-expanding!) set list. These guys eat, drink and sleep music and love to share that passion with everyone they meet and perform for. They have spent the past ten years honing our performances and you won't be able to escape Accolade's enthusiasm!

We booked Accolade after watching dozens of video medley's from other artists, not just because their music tastes align with ours, but also because of their fantastic voices and musicality. What we didn't know at the time of booking, was just how much energy and joy they would bring to their entire performance. They could have been playing at Wembley with the amount of passion they brought to our wedding. One of the highlights of the entire weekend for me was my partner and I dancing with our mums while Ben & Tim played their hearts out with their rendition of 'Take Your Momma Out'. I will cherish that memory for the rest of my life and can't thank them enough for making it happen. We missed some of the performance as we were having pictures taken, but I've been told by the guests that one of the best moments of the wedding was Ben & Tim's performance of Tribute by Tenacious D. Their energy had everyone up and singing along. Even those who didn't know the words knew they were witnessing something special. My only regret is that we missed any of it at all, we could hear them playing in the distance when we were with the photographer and were itching to get back to watch them. My advice to anyone reading this is to absolutely book Accolade! Not only are they fantastic at what they do, but they are also really chilled, lovely people to work with too. You absolutely won't regret it.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Accolade play at our wedding and we simply can't give them high enough praise! They were so professional and talented, and we had guests coming up to us and complimenting them the whole evening!! If you're considering these guys for your event, we would highly recommend them, as you will not be disappointed! We even requested songs that were not on their set list, but very sentimental to us, and they were kind enough to learn and perform them beautifully! Overall, 11 out of 10 from us!!
