About

Jay has been a professional singer/guitarist on the UK function and events circuit since he left school and over time he has learnt how to deliver the exact tone of music required for a particular gig. Whether it's an upbeat, sing-along set you're after or a more background, chilled out vibe - Jay's got it covered.

For the more energetic crowd who want to party into the night, Jay offers a duo or a trio option with a complimentary DJ package. With 1.6kW of first class German PA and an iPad controlled digital mixing desk at his disposal, you'll be sure that you're guests are treated to crystal clear, punchy sound.

Jay also prides himself on minimising hassle for the client when it comes to logistics. He will liaise directly with the event planner or the venue right from the start to ensure that there are absolutely no issues regarding set up times, sound check times, power supplies, performance space, storage space, etc.

Jay was brilliant - I will admit our event wasn't your typical event or easy to find (a marquee in the middle of a park in London). However, no request was too hard or impossible with Jay. I phoned him 3 hours before he was due to start, asking if he wouldn't mind commencing earlier and boom he was there 1 hour later. He even played Taylor Swift... amazing! I'd happily recommend Jay and work with him again.

Jay is a true professional he arrived early to set up and he kept us entertained all night with his wonderful voice and excellent DJ skills. I would highly recommend him, all our wedding guests commented on how good he is and he made the night very special for us.

    FAQs

    Do you have your own PA and Lighting?
    Yes, I have a very high quality German PA system (HK ELIAS PX ) which is more than capable of filling a 200-300 person venue with music. I also have 2 LED par bars to light our stage and two disco lights for the dancefloor.

    Are you insured?
    Yes. I have public liability insurance for up to £5m.

    Can you new learn a song for my first dance?
    Yes. We are happy to learn a first dance or a favourite song of yours. There is no extra charge for this.

    Will you play music inbetween your sets?
    Yes. In fact, I have a professional DJ setup which I bring as a standard part of my live performance package. We can discuss the kind of DJ music you want beforehand. You can choose your entire party playlist or you can leave the whole lot up to me. It's totally up to you.

    Will you liaise with the venue?
    I will ALWAYS ensure that the logistics of any gig are taken care of. I will make sure we have time to set up and sound check. I will make sure that we have space to park, time to load in, a place to store our cases, etc.

    Can you set up before the guests arrive.
    Yes. Although there is an extra charge for an early set up, we are happy to arrive at whatever time you want.
