Solaris is a band unlike any other, armed with a venue-filling, fully synchronised lighting rig, a drummer, a keytarist/keyboardist, and an incredible, dynamic and energetic female vocalist.
Performing in polygonal masks, their finely picked repertoire of party-starters and floor-fillers features club tunes, UK garage, EDM remixes and Drum 'n' Bass, as well as modern pop and R&B, plus pop, rock and remixed classics!
Accompanying Solaris' incredible, high energy performance of every track is a perfectly synchronised light show, creating concert-level FX and eye-catching colour combinations, beat-matched to each track using the latest, cutting edge software and controller units. They light up the venue and dance floor with the latest lighting fixtures including moving heads, scanners, bars and pars. They also provide glowsticks!
Should you want a funk night or a pop rock night, you can add the Solaris guitarist for that funk drive, or that iconic rippling guitar solo!
Solaris are as equally comfortable playing corporate events large and small, as they are playing birthdays and weddings.
If you’re looking for something truly special to take your event to the next level, look no further than Solaris.

How much space does Solaris need?
To make room for their large lighting rig, Solaris' minimum space requirement is 4m x 3m with a height clearance of 2.5m from the back of the stage. For the best experience, their recommended space requirement is 5m x 5m with a height clearance of 3m from the back of the stage.
How long does Solaris play for?
Solaris play 2 x 1 hour sets of live music with a free manned DJ Service in between sets and until the end of the night.
Does Solaris provide their own sound and lighting?
Solaris provide their club-standard PA complete with Subwoofer as standard. They also arrive with their full synchronised lighting rig which consist of pars, bars, scans, moving heads, strobes and more!
Do Solaris have any other requirements, like a rider?
Solaris require 3x 13amp mains sockets to run all of their equipment safely. They also require parking for 2 vehicles. Lastly, Solaris require soft drinks and a hot meal for all performers, as well as plenty of bottled water and a room to prepare for the night. If any of this is not possible, please contact us so that we can come to an alternative arrangement.
What about first dances and requests?
Solaris will perform up to 5 requests made from the band's setlist prior to the event. They will play any requests and first dances outside their setlist via iPod or equivalent at no extra charge.
Can Solaris work with sound limiters?
Limiters set to a higher decibel level than an un-amplified drum kit with a cutoff time of 5 seconds or more are usually no problem for Solaris. If a limiter is not suited to a live band performance, we'd recommend checking out DJ Lux who offer the same lightshow experience but with a DJ Duo!
Do the lights stay on in between sets?
Yes! The lights will cycle through atmospheric colours and patterns between sets.
